well only 6 games remain, and this league has gone quiet all the sudden, despite some super close races, so i think i'll stir the pot a little with some power rankings, and mostly because this might be the last chance to rank myself...

1. frosty - best league record by 2 games, best league point differential by 5 points. already hit my pre-season goal in league wins, 1 more win will put me over that goal. that's all i'll say about me.

2. flamengo - i'm sure most people would say this the scariest team in the league, and i'd agree. they dropped a surprising one to philly last game, but philly is very very good.

3. bucsblue - super high point differential, but this ranking is a bit wishy washy. it's possible some teams below are a bit more deserving.

4. philly - quickly moving up the rankings and taking down teams at will. the additions of santarelli and zarzecki are proving very positive moves, and fischer is a stud.

5. lambda - proving they are human and sometimes vulnerable, they slide down a few spots. they are still a very talented group, and still legitimate championship contenders.

6. baker - i was about to write them off, but then they beat lambda. they may be able to threaten bucsblue in the big 8.

7. nyc warhawks - maybe underrated at 7, still outside of playoff position, which is amazing considering their 11-5 record and +272 point differential. ranked a little lower because of a recent kinda sorta bad loss to snake river recently.

8. west side - moving up, they've been playing really well lately, winning 5 of their last 6. they have some really nice wins this season.

9. snake river - playing better lately. if they return to early season form, they might make bucsblue nervous if they keep it up.

10. warhawks - another team that looked good early in the season, and kind of fell apart mid-season. we'll see if they can get their game shape up and start winning again. they've lost 7 of their last 8.

11. strong arm - call me biased, but with a win over nyc, they make a good case. i like the way their team is put together. if they can take down west side next game, that would go a long way in solidifying themselves as relegation favorites.

12. walnut - management really is impressive on this team. tremol is a man-beast, and they have a couple supporting pieces. a couple additions to the team (and i mean, like, exactly 2) to help tremol, and this team would be legitimate contenders.

13. north carolina - this team is improving, and has improved. bringing in valmaseda was a very positive addition. if they win their relegation series, or better yet, finish 5th, they could be serious contenders next season.

14. glugly - afk

15. grand ma - gave up. r.i.p.

16. beastest - afk and terrible

I can't believe my team pulled that game out of their backsides in the 4th quarter against CT from UNC!

Huge win, especially that I'm still without Bowers!

Yeah, this season has been all about building that bank account back up for the Streets, which was stagnated by a shorter than ideal Cup run.

The good news is I've won a couple road games so my gate hasn't taken a major hit, I also lowered my bleacher prices early on, which helped.

Love the Rankings.... I'm actually an NCAA D2 Men's basketball coach so i get busy for a couple weeks and don't get to get on and Post and all that. So its GREAT to see someone else throw rankings in. I did log in and plan for the game against baker and it showed we played well. My team lacks depth and that's the biggest fear. I think you have it ranked PERFECT!!! Frosty and Flammingo beat me very easily. the loss to NYC my best player got hurt 7 mins into the game and my lack of depth showed there. With the team healthy right now (if they can stay that way)... I think we can get the wins needed in the Big 8 to still be the top seed in the Big 8 going into the playoffs. Once in the playoffs we all know ANYTHING can happen. Personally i believe that it will be a great battle between Frosty & Flammingo and then a battle in the finals!!!

I will post my top 8 rankings after tonights game!

Well thank you. But i've noticed that BB respects when you log in and make some adjustments... I mean i played it as Normal instead of take it easy. And i made 2 line up changes, plus changed my offense tactic. Where in some of my games before our game... I logged in just to check my money or if a player sold and set up default line ups and take it easy effort. Our game was critical for seeding and all as the season progresses.

Great 8 is a clusterfuck of excellence. I hope whoever wins the league comes out of this conference. Can you imagine if the winner of the league coming out of the Big 8 and the Great 8 getting some league II demotees. Lawwwwwd...it would be brutal next season.

This is the most exciting race top 4 race I've had in BB. Any of the current top 6 teams in Great 8 can win the league. It's going to be crazy coming down the home stretch. HCA will be real important in the playoffs...hopefully I can sneak in. 0_0

Not sure how to handicap it, and as a result I am unsure how to play it financially. I like my squad but I'm not sure it runs the gauntlet. The whole thing is fascinating.

With just a few games remaining it is a tight race in the Great 8 that's for sure. There seems to be a sense that the Great 8 is head and shoulder ahead/better than the Big 8 but the jury is still out on that. The general vibe is that the top 3 teams in the Big 8 would be just fine if playing in the Great 8. But Heading into the last few games and that final playoff push... What teams are trending upward??? and what teams are trending down??? Who's the scariest team to win the entire league and promote? Who's the most overRated team?!?!?! and lastly who is no one talking about anymore that we should be??? The III.7 Daily news has its views and answers to these questions but we'd like to hear your thoughts before posting...

oh man, this race is really tight, idk what is going to happen going down the stretch. some outstanding team is going to be in a relegation series in the great 8, and the grand ma mas seem to be the inevitable recipients of playing a relegation series against one of the 6 really good teams over here. that said, just for the great 8:

trending upward: west side - winners of 8 of their last 9, team is getting into good game shape and they're coming off an impressive road win against top ranked frosty

trending downward: frosty - back to back losses against lambda and west side respectively, they still have philly, nyc and flamengo on their schedule. anything but a cake-walk. i really needed to beat west side...

scariest team: has to be flamengo. i know lambda can probably lay appropriate claim here, but flamengo's individual salaries and ratings are downright intimidating.

overrated team: frosty - the dream ride seems to be coming to an abrupt end. i never expected to do as well as i have this season anyway. whatever the result, i'm pretty satisfied. i'll be damned if i go down without a fight though, i'm coming for the cup!

underrated team: nyc - scary goddam roster and has the ratings to bang with any of the big boys. it's not a guarantee they make the playoffs, but if they get there, they can make some noise.
