"Reloaded with old guys".... I usually don't dispute your statements or comments much because typically you're spot on. But I personally wouldn't call my team this year in comparison to my team last year a overhaul with old guys. I dropped a player 35 & a player 34. and replaced them with 26 & 34. In my playing group only 2 players that play are over 30. and my teams average age is 25. I actually think i got younger in terms of the playing group. Now yes Tommy has shown an ability to get better with age.

Now i am NOT saying that means my team is in the list of contenders for a title. I still think Danbury is the team to beat in the league all teams healthy and teams playing the same enthusiasm etc. I am just hoping to win enough games to have my attendance return up because the last couple seasons we took some large gate revenue hits.

That's why in round-robin soccer tournaments, they now play the last round simultaneously, so teams can't conspire like that. The worst case was Germany-Austria in '90. I've never seen it, but everyone knew it was a joke. In pointy-ball football it'd be a little harder to collude that way for a tie. But hating the Redskins the way I do, I'd be laughing well into the New Year.
