Well, that's as good an explanation as I can come up with. But I can't imagine even the worst NBA team (Nets, anyone?) getting rattled by a bunch of fat middle-aged guys talking smack and suddenly forgetting how to play basketball.

maybe the fans that turned up (n were chosen) were players from a higher league that didnt have a game on that night (went chosen in line up) so they went out to watch a local game and ended up being asked to play, you players where then out matched so fouled alot
