I know! I was looking at how everyone else was doing and I was amazed that your game wasn't even close! I thought that might be game of the week (except for mine, but that turned out 113-43 lol)

Wow 17 mil?! You're set. I wish I had that kind of cash to spend. Just looking at how my team has performed in its first two games and the quality of competition in the league is making me realize that this season is gonna be a lot longer than I thought. I need to make some major moves, but unfortunately it'll be a while before I can.

wow what a horrible second game, i'm trying to train a few different things right now so i had a backup PG and a rookie SG but still i'm kinda pissed i lost. well w/e i'll be back with a vengeance next game

Well, my kitties are no push overs and you did take it easy on the road, so not sure what you are pissed about, in terms of the result.. If I had not given some quality minutes to few of my back-ups as well, my margin of victory would have been even higher.

Nice job on the power ratings - will remark this about my Kitties -

4. Fiercekitties (1-0) Danny Dunn could be league MVP. Not sure what type of stats he puts up, it is just a gut feeling.

I can guarantee that Danny Dunn will not be the league MVP this season - he was not even an all-star last season.

i took it easy on the road, sat 2 starters and my best or second best player got injured early in the game. With all that i still put up the same general ratings as you. So ya i was disappointed in the loss, but like i said i will come back stronger and better. I fully plan to win the regular season then the playoffs and then I will promote. Just wait till the middle of the season when I'm back to one position training instead of 2.

Well, I think it is clear where Strong arm ranks his own team, in terms of power ratings. Those are some pretty ambitious goals - Wish you luck trying to meet all three of them this season. However, I think you will find that IV.58 is a lot harder of a D.4 league than your prior D. 4 league, IV.35.

My prediction, made at the beginning of the season, was that the 4 playoff teams from the Great 8 will be Strong, Kitties, Hoopers and Boiler. Based on the 2 games so far, have not seen anything that would cause me to change that prediction.

Yeah, been plummeting for a while and raking in some cash. I have enough to promote, but i might just spend it on getting the biggest arena in the game!

How much do you make from your arena per week?

Funky town fire - thought you were just blowing smoke about all the cash you have and your NBBA titles, until I checked your team history and transfer history. Totally legit. Sorry for doubting you - three NBBA titles in seasons approx. 24-29, and multiple recent player sales in the $1 mill to $2+ mil range.

Feel free to continue to take it easy for a while. Because if you ever decided to get serious again about your team, think the top slot in the Big 8 is yours . . . and maybe even the league title.

Maybe waiting until next season before making a big push would be a good idea . . . gives at least one team here a chance to promote out of IV.58. : )

Haha, no worries mate!

Honestly, i've been around so long I had to join the USA league because there wasn't one (with more than 2 players) for us Scottish people! Ironic as i now live in the US...

Yeah, i don't see it happening this season, although I'll try and pick up a high-end trainee for a few mil, get a trainer back on board and start building a foundation again... maybe..

There's no doubt i could win this season though, lol, just buying high salaried 32+yo players, but there's absolutely no fun in that.

Good luck!

For a while (S18-26) I was making (by quite a distance) the most in the country (i think was around 600k), now I only make 94k with all price minimums!

That'll be mostly down to winning 1 game a season for the last 5 though i imagine..

Lol for my second USA cup game I'm playing the Panama Panthers (the 8 seed in our league). Wonder how that happened!
