Your own draftees give extra mechandise profit, which can be pretty significant. Also you never know, you might draft 3 very decent players and sell for like 6-7m total. It happens. My co-worker had drafted last draft 61 skillspoint hallf of famer and like 59 skillpoints mvp and 65or so perenial superstar. Sold for close to 4m first two and training third one
