He is newbish because he is not in Naismith? That was a very arrogant post. What scorcher said was completely correct and if you do not like it, change it. Simple, but don't listen to me. Im a newbish manager.

He's newbish because he's been playing less than 5 seasons and all of those except one in div III and IV, i.e. against playing against bots. Obviously opinions may differ, but IMO the Naismith forum should exist primarily for the managers of the Naismith Division, not to entertain managers in Divs II and III who are bored and trolling.

And since you're struggling to say above .500 in your first season in Div II, yeah, I'd agree with you that you also are a newbish manager.

We did not start this game back in Season 2, like you where everyone was still learning the ropes. We started later Seasons 11 and 12 where there were managers who had financial advantages and much much more experience. You have been here since the very beginning, 17 seasons and you have not won a thing up in Naismith and right now it seems like you could be joining us newbish managers down here in division II next season. Also I am first in my conference(Do not ask me how) which I think is a better benchmark than my record.

Scorcher was not trolling either. He was probably doing what I was when I checked this forum. I wanted to see what an active league forum looked like. When I saw the lack of activity I was somewhat surprised. Scorcher obviously was as well and just made the comment.

And that means what exactly? Shouldn't have to give you a history lesson but unless your team name is BC Torooo or the Secret Agents, no one's won a thing up in Naismith (yes, yes, Genso won last season after the Mogul dropped) and that includes at least three managers that are in the Canadian Hall of Fame. But I guess you wouldn't know about that.

We've currently in our sixth season in Naismith. Ask sg united, the Ragin Stajins, 85 FG% or any of a bunch of other teams how easy it is to stay up once you make it here. And you have yet to even do that.

On the few occasions that I read the forums, I get the treat of listening to managers in their third season espouse the finer points of strategy while they play bots and teams with mediocre/inept outside defense.

I wanted to see what an active league forum looked like. When I saw the lack of activity I was somewhat surprised. Scorcher obviously was as well and just made the comment.

So you're like the little girl who finally gets to meet Justin Bieber and then is disappointed that he has nothing useful to say. The Naismith forum is what it is. Many managers don't post because they're tired of getting involved in pointless discussions like this one.

Well I actually I see winning something as either the Naismith league championship or the Canada Cup and BB-Mark is the only who has not won a gold trophy other than a div II trophy. Also speaking of the Canadian Hall of Fame too me a bigger factor than success would be the managers influence on the game and assistance in the Canada community.

I have to yet to make it up at a point in BB where teams that started earlier have a big advantage. If I make it to Naismith by my 10th season I will be satisified, but then again I do not see being a division II team as being a newbish manager. I have seen many managers spend seasons in div III without being able to get even to division II(25075). Division II is still a big deal in my eyes, but obviously I would love to be in Naismith ;). Too me the indicator of a newbish manager or not would be that managers knowledge and understanding of the game. I feel like I have a good understanding of this game, but I understand I still have alot to learn. I do not consider myself newbish, but everyone is entitled to their opinion. I am done with this silly argument with you. I don't post on these forums to make enemies or have stupid arguments.

Sure you can call me the little girl excited to meet Justin Bieber. To be honest if I was about to meet Justin Bieber I would be a little excited ;) and if you do not want to post actively thats great. Who am I to tell you otherwise, but do not put managers down when they state their harmless opinions on these forums, no matter what league there in.

Well there im done, if you want to continue this argument, BBmail me. This thread is not the place for it.

Get the singer instead and have him bite the head off a bat before every game. That will help your offensive flow :)

I haven't invested anything in the draft for the past 2 seasons. The Naismith drafts have been pretty weak and my draft spot hasn't been too great. I am trying to pick up a new Canadian big hopefully NT calibre. Trying to buy one of the NT bigs right now so let's see how that goes.

Other than that, going to hopefully collect some more money and hope that Hadley doesn't blow up in salary for next season. He should replace Gaize on the NT by next season so that's exciting.

WOW I make one post and you guys finally show some leadership as Naismith managers? This should have happened long ago when The Mogul decided to take a break, someone should have taken responsibility to lead our country, so don't complain if so called newbish managers are doing that b/c their Naismith counterparts are to selfish to do themselves. And BTW I'm not a newbish manager as ii . 3 is quite tough and i will be in Naismith in 4 seasons mark my words, and HarlemStrikers will be here in 2 seasons, just WATCH ( spare me the response Juggler) sorry if this is in response to you bballin, on iPod supposed to be Juggler.

Is this a serious comment? Quite forums does not equal selfish managers, in fact I would consider that a very ignorant thought. A large portion of Naismith managers partake in interesting conversations either in the off-site forums or in a federation of their choice. If you want to talk trash and what not go nuts, but up here in the big leagues most managers are pretty respectful and keep to them selves.

For the record Naismith is a big step up from division 2. Claiming you will be here in 4 seasons is a great goal, but you are going to face the likes of The Secret Agents, and who ever else decides to drop down.

Thanks for posting here and getting a response, just try keeping your ignorant comments to a minimum.
