As expected, we lost to a better team today. On the bright side, they put more effort than us in this game.

I'm confident that come the end of the season, things could look different. With good training, gameshape and effort management, we may be able to pull a win against this same team.

Congratulations to Ebene5, Fikile's manager. Fikilie came up with an amazing performance and earned big minutes in this game. However, he can obviously still improve a lot on the defense end.

Well we easily won vs. Ghana to move to 3-1. The win should see us climb over Msir into 3rd with games against 5th place Nigeria and the top two ranked teams to come in Al Jazir and Senegal.

Keep up the training guys!

With a nice win over Nigeria we move to 4-1 with the final 2 games to go. This is a vast improvement to the 2-5 record that took RSA U21 to 7th in season 18.

That win books the teams place in the 2nd group phase of the tournament.

Keep up the training guys. It is really paying off!

So tomorrow comes another tough game. We will play against a better team talent-wise which also features players in a much better game shape than us. I don't expect to win this one.

However, I strongly believe that we stand a chance against any team in the competition if we have players in good game shape! So please, make sure they play around 70min per week, no more no less.

I know it's been difficult this week with the allstar game and a few players coming back from injury. I still hope for a better future.

On a bright note, thanks again to everybody for training your players. It feels really good to log on on a friday and see almost everyone popping in this team.

Keep up with the good work, don't neglect game shape!

cheers

And another loss for the SA team. We played against what's probably the best team in the tournament.

However, we witnessed a surprisingly close game. As I'm confident we will advance to the semi-finals, I believe we will have a good card to play once we get there!

Next game should be just as hard as the previous one, so we will most likely carry on testing players / tactics and stack some enthusiasm.
