Of course he is not joking. That beanerz is a total a-hole, I am sure we all agree on that.

You know, I'm not really sure why everything needs to be so hush-hush about why so many teams are being banned from the game. Perhaps if the GMs were not so scared to say anything it might actually help curb whatever rule-breaking is going on.

Personally, I feel it creates a very uncertain and unstable feeling for the other managers, who are left guessing why so many players are being banned from the game.

When players (or teams) are suspended or fined in real life, people are told why. We all know why the Patriots were heavily fined and had draft picks removed (Spygate). We all know why the Saints are currently being penalized by the league (player bounties). But none of us know why multiple players are being removed from the game. What exactly did they do? Did they do it once? Were they warned? We have no idea.

This is not a healthy environment. It feels like a police state, or like Europe in WWII when people were being removed from their houses and everyone just kept quiet and hoped it didn't happen to them.

Perhaps you should take a quick glance over the rules? It is very clear that GM's and other members of the BB staff do not discuss any type of punishment. It is clear that multiple teams were banned and a closer look makes it appear to have happened at the same time, coincidence? Maybe, maybe not.

What benifit is there in knowing more? Perhaps you would also like to cheat the way others have? After a bank robber robs a bank do the police share every detail including how they planned to get into the safe? No they say that the culprit was caught and will be punished, period end of story.

The reality is that there is no benefit from a tell all type system. I am sorry if you don't feel that this is a healthy system but I would completely disagree. The rules are VERY clear, again I suggect you take a glance at them. That way you will understand what is and is not allowed, it may even give you perspecive on why teams can get banned.

FTW, this is a pathetic comment. Comparing teams being banned in BB to a War that took the lives of millions of loved ones. Seriously classless!!

Three teams don't just get banned out of nowhere on the same day, they must have been breaking the rules. Shouldn't be a big concern from a fairness and stability standpoint. It does suck though.

I just assume it's the obvious thing.

well, beanerz already alluded (on the day it happened) to that there was a lot of back and forth in the background before the bans took place
i think its pretty clear that someone/people violated the very clear rules of conduct and the GMs took care of business

NFL teams were brought up
yes, the results and decisions were announced, but the official debates on either side during the hearing? good luck

i dont think there needs a clear cut announcement of the reason unless it doesnt fall into the premise of the rules of conduct

you're screwed for hacking the site and you're screwed for having multiple accounts
does it matter how he/she/they got banned?
at the end of the day, the accounts are gone... can you learn anything different from them if the reasons were posted? not really... just don't break the rules of conduct

maybe 5 seasons down the road the GMs can blog about how some users got banned, using fake team names for the lulz... but nows not the time, and i think its irrelevant in terms of any fairness or stability of the game

well, I guess I didnt have to do a new pick-up (I was aware that I will advance thanks to the record anyway), but I want to get to Naismith fair and square- by winning my league (even if it will cost me additional 450k). Should be interesting matchup with Keyes in semi-final, and eventually with Cerebreal Assasins in final.
