No one is "ruining" the game by DTing.

References to "the game" clearly refer to BuzzerBeater as a whole.

I have been playing for just over a month and have started a bit of daytrading since day 5 or so. I work fulltime and this way I am still able to make great improvements on my team.

Daytraders can't help it if there are people who are willing to buy huge prices for players on a match day and sell them for half that price 3 days after. I've seen this a lot of times already.

I think Daytrading will balance out the economy more then most people think, since with daytraders you at east get a better minimum price as daytraders also raise the bidding against eachother.

If the community doesn't want daytraders they should use minimum prices to avoid daytraders getting a cheap deal...

Those are just my two cents.

That's just nonsense.

When there werent any daytraders the prices will be lower for all players. When DT wasn't there the poorer newer teams who started a few weeks ago could afford to buy some players for a better price if they are lucky. Now that's impossible, because all the daytraders will hunt those cheap buys to make profit of it.
This is only increasing the gap between the richer and better teams and the newer, poorer teams. The richer teams are getting richer and richer by daytrading, with all that money they can build a strong team, the poorer teams don't have the money to buy those players and they can't hope on a cheap buy anymore. So the poorer teams can't keep up with teams in higher divisions because they can't make their team stronger that easily. No lucky cheap buys for them anymore, so not easy to improve at all.

Just quit the daytrading, everyone says everywhere that they want to have a realistic game etc etc etc. But when it comes to daytrading this suddenly changes. I've never seen a team buy a player for a few millions in the NBA and sell that player 3 days later for a few more millions. This daytrading stuff has nothing to do with a basketbal game, with realism and with a 'real market'.

If a newer and poorer team (like mine a month ago) looks for interesting deals they can become a richer within a month at the expense of less then an hour a day!

That's actually the best any DT post in this thread. It is an excellent indication of DT being way too strong compared to other strategies in the game!

So the end is trading not training

I think its a combination of skill, training, trading. With luck as an important side factor.

If daytrading should become a smaller factor then the best way of achieving that would be selling a maximum of 3 players simultaniously. That would make it impossible to put all your players on the transferlist for high prices and thus lowering the chances of successfull daytrading.

Percentages wont make a difference as the profits are far greater then the 25% they could take for a player. If you buy smart and sell smart you can make 250-1000% profit which would be impossible to impose.

Buying a maximum number of players would also help a little, but not nearly as much as the maximum players that are being sold.

I've seen just now a player of IV Spanish division bought a player for 850k. What I've understood in the past was the idea to create some gap between the first division and the new divisions but if all the players of V division will start to make trading no one gap will be created. Anyway my personal opinion is that day trading, better to say, a massive day trading is ruining this beautiful game. Badurlan is in my division but I don't think he's a dangerous trader, when you check the market you can see others very dangeruos traders with tons of transfers per week, there is a difference between 10 trasfers per week and 10 transfers per day. If the 90% of the people is blaming about day trading I think that something as to be revised and I hope in a strong taxation. The idea to limit also the number of transfers per day is excellent and it's excellent too the idea to keep minimum 2 or 3 weeks a player in the team before to resell it.

I don't know why people cry about this. Day trading is just one way to play the game. If people want to try to dominate buy selling and buying thats there buisness and theres no rule against it. Just find your own strategy and try to bring your team to the top
