yeah, the enthusiasm has also some impact on the defense performance. I hoped, he would still get a better start with his high game shape. my german trainee had also a more or less underwhelming game today.

Hanguk 66 - 107 England
(71427)

For whatever reason, England already had 3 or 4 weeks to improve their GS. They had 6 players at Strong and 3 at Proficient. Us ? We had 3 Strong and 1 Proficient. That Proficient was the newcomer, Sang-Mook Lee, first Nachtmahr trainee to reach the Korea NT.

Several our NT hopeful got sold recently. And one of the 9 current NT players is on sale, JH Kim, long term SF sub and 34 y old, is back on the market: (47482110)

We can still go for 5-3 this season. This was roughly the goal. It means potentially reaching the last 32 and get eliminated by a big European nation in the first elimination game.

Well, at least FT % was good. Tough game. Wouldn't have expected such a big gap - but hey ... the guys are still celebrating the trophy.

I'd like to heavily advertise this player for the U21 currently on sale
for any team who is training 1-on-1, it wouldn't take all that much to get him up to competition level

Heung-Soo Je (52594913)

hope someone can pick him up

the Nam'ers really stuck it to us.... good ol' statsy pulling one out
in an exciting thrill of events.... Yong-Soo Yun (51526769) got injured early.... Woo-Sung Kim (51529092) pulls down a triple-double... almost everybody scored.... overall team effort

we're still in the thick of things for this season!

Thanks Perpete. I watched almost every german and it was a drama. The KO games were so tight and a nailbiter. But in the end they hold their ground and got the first world cup title

It seems WS Kim needs worse gameshape in order to perform better. ;) Great triple-double - especially as it comes with a win.

Well, bad luck that they tried to beat a team that recently one a medal at the asian tournament. ;) Still a nice win. And hopefully not the last one this season. Great story with your perennial allstar ... It's really going to be interesting how long the "old guys" will still be able to perform well and how fast the young guys will be closing the gap. You might be more competitive in the next few seasons than you are telling us ;)

And yes: awesome World Cup ... I had to work on sunday so I couldn't watch the game ... but maybe that's better for my health ;) I really thought that they might finally lose a close game - such a great streak and always kind of winning despite the odds. Hopefully that team will continue to play together in the next couple of years. Would be awesome if they got a shot at an olympic medal. But I guess France and some other teams (USA and Canada included) will probably come back more strongly ...

But: a deserved World Cup win, awesome. Especially since our football guys don't really play that well at the moment ;)

See ya tomorrow night !

Right, I know why I've got a rehearsal in the evening. ;) But we've got Rudi Völler coaching. Even if there was a lot of luck involved (an Oliver Kahn), he did get us into the WC-Final in 2002 ;)

Not our current NT level anyway. More the one we had 12-15 seasons ago. He would play every week 15 seasons ago. It's a showing of how we improved though.

Right, hopefully we don't have to go back to those levels. Otherwise I'd also have a Park who was at GS 9 and does know how to defend. Doesn't really know how to rebound, otherwise he'd probably already be a constant backup on the NT. Unfortunately, training guards doesn't help with that .. but it was still worth a try and he's a nice player ;)
