tompkins and martinazzi are no brainers. pf i have bois from west side, he's an absolute beast, 18.7 ppg, 13.1 rpg, always out-rebounds and out-scores his opponent. taddei has been playing better recently, but over the season, bois has a better resume for the whole season. tremol is also, imo a no brainer at center. not only can he rebound, but he also leads the league in blocks and blocks per game. he's a stud that walnut can build around. he's only 25!

the question is, who is the best sf? seems like a 2 horse race to me. that said, i'll give my 1st and 2nd team all III.7:

1st Team

PG - Tommy Lee Tompkins - BucsBlue Lob city
SG - Rodolfo Martinazzi - LambdaLambdaLambda
SF - Paulo Nafria - BucsBlue Lob City
PF - Rémi Bois - West Side Tigers
C - Marc Trèmol - Walnut Streets

2nd Team

PG - Luís Nuno Andrade - North Carolina Tar Heels
SG - Timothy Fischer - Philadelphia Phantasm
SF - Savas Anik - Warhawks
PF - Michele Taddei - Warhawks
C - Maximilià Alcalde - Warhawks

boy, it almost feels bad to leave out some players that are super deserving and had great seasons themselves...

3rd Team

PG - Sherwood Pereira - Philadelphia Phantasm
SG - Wilburn Marcus - BucsBlue Lob City
SF - Bazyl Duk - Grand Ma Mas
PF - Ferdynand Procki - CRF Flamengo
C - Lo Mei jywan - Strong arm of the law

Honorable Mentions

Mousa Al-Anwar
Agustín Montoya
Khoury Haddad
August Marrero
Tomas Liutvickas
John Cutler
Hyman Ryder
Marco Tatti
Jordan Pina
Fidencio Luna
David Peillon
Emanuel Pędzik
Altay Paksoy
Rich Benitez
Marcinas Vizmanas

I always like to do a First team etc... Cuz BB doesn't. But it's fun/funny as you do it it makes you realize how tough it really is and how much is splitting hairs. I mean I didn't say Remi cuz they play him at Center. So if i was making just 1 first team I was weighing him against Marc Tremol and i thought Marc was better. But if you put Remi to his "natural PF" position then yes he's the best PF. (Kinda like the old Tim Duncan, Kevin Garrnett thing... what do they really play? Center or PF?) I didn't have the time to construct a 2nd, 3rd team... and Honorable mention...

Lets talk MVP... Everyone's Definition of MVP is different. Is it the best player on the best team? Is it the best player in the entire league? Is it the most productive? OUR view is like this on MVP... it SHOULD be the player that if you REMOVED HIM from his team they would drastically be hurt (aka lose lots of games)... According to those guidelines we give our best guess at MVP... Not concrete.

In terms of my top 5 MVP voting right now the III.7 Sports News has it like this going into the playoffs

1. Tommy Lee Tompkins (Best player on #1 overall seed in the league, top 10 in scoring, Assist leader, 14.5 rating)

2. Rodolfo Martinazzi (Leads league in scoring shooting 50%, with a 15.5 rating).. Negative on a team NOT IN PLAYOFFS!
But can't take away his productivity.

3. Timothy Fischer (2nd in Scoring, 15.0 Rating playing PG/SG/SF, Best player on a team 17-5 in the playoffs.)

4. Marc Tremol (currently injured, but leads league in Rebs, Avg Double Double,1st in Blocks)... team NOT IN PLAYOFFS!
Team is under .500

5. Remi Bois (Avg Double Double, Extremely effective C/PF, Shoots OVER 55% FG).. Team NOT IN PLAYOFFS!

Will be interesting to see what everyone else thinks as the top 5 MVP Candidates. I find it interesting that from player productivity there are 3 guys who are teams not in the playoffs. I would love to see who YOU ALL nominate. And find out are you basing it on team status or just individual statistics.

Good luck in the Playoffs!

Shit, forgot to put Cutler as my starting PF. Up by 4 at the half, but what a brain fart on my part.

Thanks for the Tremol props Bucs! Hopefully I can add one more young beast to go along with Tremol, Baron, Cooper, Holland, Ellington and Muzalia. Most of them are a couple seasons away from being ready to start in DIII but I can phase out Bowers and other vets. I'll also pick up a trainer next season to ensure fewer injuries.

Well you and I have had a few good battles so far so it will be interesting to see how this playoff game goes. I think you and snake went Playoff Crunch time. I will be interested to see what adjustments you make in prep for our game. For me this season has been all about DEPTH! I looked over all my losses and only 1 came when i was full strength. ALL my other losses were injury games where i lost a player early in the game. I am NEVER confident in the playoffs, but this year i think home court will be huge for me.

Good Luck

Yeah BB bites with the injury bug... you always just hope it happens during the season and you can weather the storm and only lose a game or 2. If you can be healthy in the playoffs you got the best chance of making a run. Good Luck though man.

As today opens the Championship game... I want to first say good luck to the winner of the Great 8 CRF! Heck of a battle on that side and to be crowned winner of that side is impressive!!! In regards to the league info I see lots of player selling happening and my guess is some acquiring will begin soon as well. So large overhauls which could mean this league could look different thats for sure.

Anyone have any final recap of the year or final thoughts as it comes down to the end of a great season!!!!!!!
