The Cross Chargers closed out season 16 on a high note, winning 4 of their last 5 games, including a sweep of lowly Poland's Revenge in the relegation series. The team showed a good deal of improvement as the season wore on, with Kapriel Ghazoyan and Sven Kontny stabilizing the backcourt as well as home grown talent Guo Jianpeng and Pablo Jimenez de Parga continuing to grow their skills. In fact, the youngsters' growth has led the team to decide to put Vincenzo Abussi on the block. Abussi was a key addition in Season 15 to get the Cross Chargers promoted, but his salary is too high for a player in a supporting role. Look for the team to invest in its arena and building its depth as they eye a playoff berth in Season 17.
