Lubnan 108 - 126 Indonesia

Hello guys !

As I said last week after our victory against Pakistan "if you want to win, you first have to try to win." This time, we tried to win... and it didn't work. That's is life. I'm a bit disappointed, but I have to say my hopes were a bit optimistic... ^^

Let's try to talk about this game, as usual.

Good points : Osman El-Rifa'i made a clean game. I like this player in point guard. Shatnawi was in an attacking mood : 3/5 for three for a 4, it's great. 17 assists, 7 turnovers, not so bad for our passing game. 101 shoots taken. We just need to put more of them is the basket. Simple, no ? :D

Bad points : Well, there's no need to be a specialist to see : 126 points conceded. Wow. Too much too win. Our paint, our rebond. Jaghbeer can't be THE man when there are two players like him in the other team... That's a fact. 22 fouls conceded. Same problem : defense !

To finish, it's not a so bad defeat : Indonesia is much stronger than us and we tried everything we could. We have to keep working and improve defense and our paint. Nothing has changed ! Next game will be a transition one : nothing to expect.
