The Egyptan squad soars to a record of 5-0! After an easy win against Marocco on Monday evening, the team gave a short press conference:
S. Yousef (Captain): "It's just fun to play with this year's team. We're a lot deeper than last year, especially the new guys brought those things to our game, which we didn't have last season. Our Coach trusts everyone of us, what's a special motivation for our squad. I know it's early, but I think we are able to do great things out there!"
B. Ibn-Osman (Forward): "I'm very happy that Coach Fairness gave me my first minutes in our NT dress. I'm proud to be a member of such a great team and I'm sure that we're able to keep those results!"
J. Abu-Mansour (PG): "We are on a good way right now. The mood in the team feels a lot better than the last seasons, but we shouldn't forget that there's still a long way to go!"
A. Haj-Hamdan (Wingman): "I'm so proud of our defense! We bring so much effort on the most important side of the court, what eases our offense a lot."
L. Taylor (Team Doctor): "It's so much fun to watch this team from the sideline, I'm very impressed by the way we get those wins. However, I've never got so much work after the games like in this season!"
Fairness (Coach): "Our team's record is still perfect, what doesn't mean that we stop working now! There's a long and hard way until we've got time to relax, but I'm sure our team and our brilliant staff will stand those weeks. I'm proud by the way we won those 5 games in a row now - Youngsters like Arabi, Damghani and Ibn-Osman made their first games for this country, our captain Yousef leads the team perfectly, Our Outside Defense is one of the best in the world and our whole squad just plays how it should be, as a team! I want to thank my staff for always helping me and my team for giving me such great first results, but like I said, this Tournament is not over until it's over!"
So, many statements to have an impression what this year's team is about. We hope that they keep perfomances like this, GO MISR!!!
