It has been a beatiful start of the week for the franchise. Not only because we are currently unbeaten in the league with a record of 17 - 0, nor that the Dutch Airlines Arena is close to being 100% sold out for the entire season, nor the fact that Los GansoS won the battle on the tranfsermarket for the rights of Ludo Dooijer
(22814300), a multi-skilled Dutch SF with 120 Skill Points. No, all of that is great news, but the best part of the week has not been mentioned yet.
Los GansoS is known for drafting young, talented players and to train them, to be a potential cornerstone of their franchise. For a long time, it seemed that Tamir Hadad
(25100005) would be that player, or Xavier Taal
(26452292). However, none of that was true, as Los GansoS decided to sell both players, and rebuild their team.
In the draft of season 24, Los GansoS drafted the most talented 18 year old, that the franchise has ever seen. His name; Antoine Eriks
(30997125). The now 19 year old, with the potential of becomming a Hall of Famer, made his debut in the U21 Dutch National Team, playing his first 14 minutes on International level. Making him one of the few players in the National history, who accomplished the same.
Eriks was happy he got selected for the U21 squad of the Netherlands, adding his motto; "hard work pays of". We will see a lot more of this youngster in the near future, as this is just the start of a magnificent career.
