Press Announcements

Despite losses, team is improving.

After years of having three good players and a bunch of hacks, Thailand is finally starting to produce decent players. Despite a string of lopsided drubbings, coach Somchai Somchaijaroen is upbeat about the future of the Thai NT. "In about two years, we will be able to compete against the bottom third of NT teams, which is a huge step forward for us,"said Somchai after tonight's loss to Serbija. "Right now we can compete with only the bottom 10 percent. But improvement is there. For example, tonight is the first game in the history of the Thai NT that every player on the court finished the game with a rating of 10 or better."
