Consolation Round

Qualifying for last chance has its drawbacks. For one, we start out the tournament with a 0-2 slate. We just won our first game against Crna Gora (previously unbeaten). Next week will be playing against a pushy Austrian team who gives everyone a hard time. World rank is a bit deceptive so this will be a close game for us.

Kazakhstan, Eesti, Brazil (5) and Bolivia make up the rest of the schedule. Our young core is performing well, Montenejo, Musa and delaTorre. I really want to give more playing time to Sto. Nino and Libre but the managers need to work on their game shape. I also want to advance and try to secure home court so the next Senior Manager can have an advantage.
