Yard Goats Franchise Created!

It's a proud day for BuzzerBeater as the commissioner has announced the induction of a new expansion team - Yard Goats. This is the second organization started by a carbon-based lifeform known in that incarnation as Hassan Donnelly. This team has yet to play a single game and already there is much pungent smoke surrounding this new and exciting franchise. Fans are living it up at the box office in order to obtain season tickets, media outlets are scrambling for interesting stories on the squad's relation to dope smoking hippies of ages past, and TV stations are fighting for broadcasting rights that would reach the medicinal crowd.

With future general manager John Marcum not scheduled to be at the helm for another 20 or so seasons, the team for the near future faces a long slog of putting together a franchise. . But their journey to become the least worst team in BuzzerBeater starts now!
