World Cup

Israel U21's favorite tournament. The U21 World Cup. We won it back to back in seasons 47 & 49 and we reached a 3rd finals in a row in season 51, the greatest run ever in the U21 field for any nation, especially small one.

Last season we reached the U21 EC Final four and despite dominating the whole season, Coach Alonso made a terrible Semi Final lineup and that was a painful loss.

Israel's roster this season however, is as unbalanced as it could be - the best big men lineup in the World Cup, and on the other side - 20 year old guards. 20yo bigs are great to have, but when you play 20yo guards you know things are B A D.

Luckily, we are in the "better" first round group. It won't be easy and we might even be eliminated in the first round, but if we can stay in shape and stay solid and accurate - we'll get enough time to get better just enough for better chance in the 2nd round.
