Actually a great training facility
As the game continues to evolve I believe we need separate sheets for old and old NT records.

Any NT is suffering from this now, as all of the records were set before season 30 when players played for their teams half their lives and opposition was non-existant.

Don't know where exactly we should split the records, opinions welcome.

Probably impossible to make it "fair". Also from last season we can have great players in our NT longer time as careers are extended.

Expand the records: have the all time ones, then have “decades” ones.
Ex: s1-10, 11-20, etc. for “all decade” or “best scorer of decade” or etc.

I was thinking more of pre-season-40 and after season 40, or any other point of slicing, but no more than one.

If you could set up sliding decades, sure, but with that idea you could absolutely have your best player all time not showing on those records because he was there during the S35-D45 decade.


This is a possibility your 35-45 example. Sadly happens all the time too. But doesn’t seem to be an issue in mlb/nfl/nba/etc when that happens with a player either.
