From what I have learned so far, nowadays training for profit is a bad strategy.

Hm, I don't subscribe to that argument. Imo for new managers the "one-season training for sale cycle" is the fastest way to grow their team financially. But for that to work they should NOT follow the training meta.

If height of player don’t mater in the matches, why does it matter in training them?

Hmm. That very weird . This doesn't mean they get more rebound that 6ft player with better skills . Right
