Is it just me or was there a sudden drop in the total userbase recently?

As of now, total userbase: 12911

I could swear that we had 13k and some about a week ago. 7 teams got banned this week, so I'm wonderin what happened to the other 80+ teams.

Deleted because they were inactive for too long? Some managers deleting their teams for whatever reason? Some late christmas sweeping against bots and other nefarious users?

About 3 months ago access to BB has been restricted by some of the russian internet providers. We lost about 30 teams already and more is coming

I usually never track those numbers at all. I just remarked on the potential coincidence that the userbase has dropped below 13k right after new year.

I also know this isnt the first time this has happened, and I also remember when people used to say that this game would be dead if the userbase dropped below 15k. But here we are, MANY years after these comments, people still deeply care about this game and we won't leave anytime soon.
