Good morning, everyone.

I know some of you may look at me and see someone who wasn’t born on this beautiful island – but I want you to know that I felt a connection to this team’s spirit and to the pride you all have for your nation. Today, I stand before you as a candidate for head coach, ready to give everything I have to lift the team up.

I won’t pretend we face the same advantages as some basketball powerhouses around the world. We know we don’t have the same depth of top-tier talent as other countries – but what we do have is heart, resilience, and a deep love for this game that runs through every corner of Costa Rica. That fire within the players and the people is worth more than any number of highly-ranked prospects.

Just give me 2 seasons. In that time, I promise to:

- Maximize every single skills the players possess, turning individual strengths into a powerful team force
- Build a smart, strategic style of play that works with what we have, not against it
- Work hand-in-hand with local coaches and leagues to develop our next generation of talent
- Represent Costa Rica with the respect, dedication, and honor this flag deserves

I may not share your birthplace, but I am ready to share my knowledge, my energy, and my unwavering commitment to making Costa Rican basketball better than it was yesterday. We’ll work harder than anyone else, we’ll play smarter than anyone else, and we’ll make sure that every time we step onto the court, we make you proud.

Give me 2 seasons – and let’s show the world what Costa Rica is made of.

¡Muchas gracias! (trophy)

¡Muchas gracias! (trophy)
