Hi all, this is my first (and probably only) Forums post.
I lost this game
(138974338) and cannot understand why.
I appreciate your patience and helpfulness - and if this is the wrong section of the forums, I apologize in advance.
Below is some basic data which should explain why I was expecting to win.
My team's total DMI from the lineup: 2275300 (10 players) - My 5 starters' total DMI: 1765300
Other team's total DMI from the lineup: 1636500 (8 players) - Other team's 5 starters' total DMI: 1059900
As you can see, my starter lineup had a DMI advantage of over 700,000.
My team enthusiasm for the match was 10 (I kept playing "take it easy), while the other team had played all their past matches at normal or higher, so predictably lower team enthusiasm.
The game shape of their starting line up was two 5s and three 7s, while the game shape of my starting line up was four 8s and one 7.
As you can see from the boxscore I predicted their strategy, I had a prolific 11 inside defence (2-3 strat) against their strong 8 inside scoring (look inside strat).
It is unlikely that my players were tired in the 4th as ALL my players have 9 stamina, 5 subs in my lineup, and inside isolation isn't a "fast" paced strat, and even if they were... the other team was in a worse situation:
They played with only 3 subs, have an old team and were using a fast paced strat (look inside).
Statistically I was supposed to win:
Higher DMI & game shape.
Higher team enthusiasm
I predicted their strat in game-day preparation and my defence rating was higher than their scoring rating in the box score.
I was 7 points up (which even conservatively was lower than I expected, explained only by them using higher effort) until roughly 3 minutes until end of the game, and they scored 12 points in the space of 3 minutes without any logical explanation.
Given their use of a fast paced strat, I would have expected their fatigue to build up and for their score to be progressively lower as the game went on. It is illogical that a fast pace strat would score higher in 4th than the rest of the match.
Could someone please provide some logical explanation for this loss?
Lastly, is there any possibility of hacking? Is it even possible to manipulate the game engine to achieve such a result?
Edit: Forgot to add - I played inside isolation, but two highest scorers were SF and PG.
And specifically the PG which was second highest scorer, has low inside shooting... which makes no sense as to why they would score so highly with this strat. - something seems to be wrong with the Game Engine's interpretation of "isolation" strats.
