Maybe I'm too late with the reply, but from the app it works fine.
From pc browser I get the same error as you.

stesso problema
avevo programmato una gara di allenamento ma non e' stata creata ed ora da PC non si entra piu' nell' elenco gare
almeno da app la gara si puo'impostare (lo dico per chi ha lo stesso problema)

I can't reproduce the error, is it still there? Economy updates can sometimes affect these things.
