A strange event.

My team lost the tie-break.
And, even that, it was promoted to an higher division.

Is it usual?

It can happen.

Happened to me this season

Lost in the semifinals and still promoted

Team is not ready for it. I went from being one of the best teams in a bad league to the 2nd worst in a much tougher league. Not sure it's a positive thing

You might try to use the situation for tanking and same time to save money by cutting team salary to the economically lowest possible. Doing so you can bring yourself into a good position for the next draft.

If BB gives you a lemon, try to make juice out of it ;)

I tanked 3 seasons ago to do that. Took me a long time to get fan support back. My trainees are age 21, so they are starting to get there. I would have been ready for D3 next season. But we'll struggle this year. We'll be alright, but it would have been a lot better next season.

And as usual, my rival is the best team in the league
