I am keeping similar stats for my team. At some point I might convert it to BB's text editor and share with you.

Anyways, thanks demars for sharing the stats. I hope to put it to 1-4 in a couple of weeks :D

That would be a good idea!

Even if I don't post, I am lurking in the depths of this forum, slowly learning things... and seeing for example the salaries, I see it will take a few seasons to get to the HGL. But, perseverance is key!

Yes, perseverance is what it takes. But as long as you have that, along with patience and at least decent understanding of the BB functioning (about how training basically works, little knowledge about game engine of BB, etc.), you should be able to get better all the time for many seasons to come, when you're on such early development stage.

I see. Suo actually means swamp in Finnish, and occasionally, when it comes to team success, it does indeed describe it well - if feels like wandering on swamp.

Well, I always thought that in finnish, the country was "Suomi Finland" (as we can see in many sports events).

BTW, Swanps and Frogs will long live together ;)

Suomi Finland indeed is familiar phrase to many (following sports)..

Maybe they do go well together, but now I feel stupid because I didn't quite get the idea/joke here... ;p Maybe you can elaborate on it a bit more?

Yes, they often do I guess, even though I'm no frog expert by any means.
I just asked because often you have some certain smart, funny, or witty connection/idea built in within your humor/comments (or that's how I've experienced it so far), and as your team nor mine I guess don't have any connection to frogs, that's why I mentioned it... The only connection between HGL and frogs, that I can come up with, is LGM (with their stylish frog-logo).

Ah, I understand, you're not a rosbeef !!

Let me explain an ol' story of ours !
Every french knows that british, especially English, people call us Frogs ("froggies") cos' we eat frogs (we used to, but it's hard to find french people nowadays eating frogs). It seems that is only for english or british people.

(BTW, we call english "rosbeef", cos' they're red as everybody * knows.

* everybody = every french people, especially playing rugby**
** rugby = a sort of sport that NO non-british people, excepted french froggies, knows

PS : english soldiers were (IRL !) called "lobsters" by american people when it was war time (Independance war) -> https://inf.news/en/history/eaa9189579dc0b72dd0960bc0452b1...

*** yes, it was humour :D

Lots of ***'s (stars) in your message, probably more than in my team roster ;P

I see now your point and joke, I was totally unaware of this froggies-nickname thing!

Scores have been updated to schedule, but league tables have not been updated on the part of today's and last Friday's games yet.
Sorry for delays. IRL there are multiple things that take lots of time, concentration and energy currently. It's very hard to concentrate on BB due to that right now. Hence the silence on HGL threads on my part.

And these 3 match weeks have never been my favorite anyway.

Anyway, I'll see if I'd be able to update league table after these 2 missing games, or if we need to wait after tomorrow's game (3rd game in 4 days!) have been played (so that I'd update 3 rounds at a one go).

On the topic of statistics...

...unfortunately, I just don't have the time to keep doing the seasonal Leaders in the various categories. It requires a lot of time to process every game of every round for the entire season. As a result, I am giving notice to everyone now that I cannot keep doing it going forward.

Keeping stats on my own team is enough atm.

I have taken on a Coaching role in domestic Basketball competition, starting in a month or so, and know it will take a lot of my time. That on top of being a school teacher, doing my GM role, helping out a little with the Aussie U21 NT...I have had to make some cut-backs to what I can realistically do.

I apologise for not being able to do this indefinitely.

Thanks for letting us know.
No problem whatsoever.
I also have huge challenges in terms of being able to collect HGL Team Stats (45 categories), and while I already did all the "base work" needed for Season 6 stats collection, frankly, it infortunately remains to be seen if it's realistic.

Problem is, the bigger the mountain of uncollected stats becomes, the more "uninviting" project it'll become and harder it is to get starting doing it. However, it's not just because "I don't feel like doing it", I don't have time for it right now and IRL things are stealing way too much attention at the moment (to justify using the last bits of energy, if there is something left, to stats collection right now).
