THIS IS OUR BRUTALITY: PHILIPPINES RALLIES PAST AUSTRALIA!
Philippines faced Australia this week, which could determine whether or not the Philippines get a medal this season or not. The first half was balanced, both Philippines and Australia kept the pressure and forced the other to create a response. Coming out of the third quarter, everyone believed that Australia was about to steal and dominate the game. One of the worse quarters of the Philippines ever, Australia managed to snatch a 29-12 quarter and lead the game at most 21 points with 32 seconds remaining in the third quarter. The 4th quarter is a different game, Morrissey lead the 4th quarter offensively and got 13 points and 7 rebounds. Arcega lead the charge defensively in the 4th when he was the target of the opponents offense, he got 8 rebounds and 1 block in the 4th. Cabello's clutch 3 managed to take the lead and seal the game for the Philippines, completing a 21 point comeback in the dying moments of the game with a final score of 95-89.
