Thanks, Wagner.
In hindsight, I think I will just do the Top 3 in each category each week. It will allow more characters in a post too so I can make any necessary comments (while reducing my workload minutely). I have been quite unwell for a week, so just getting back into it.
And yes, too early to see who our LLs will be...but some interesting observations already.
Your stats, your call, MrJ. Whatever makes it manageable enough for you (and reduces your workload to decent/doable) is probably a good decision in terms of longevity (you being able to keep on doing the work, without it interfering your real life too much).
The only downside is that then people don't know if their player would be, say, 5th or 8th on the list, and if they should try to play him maximum minutes in order to get better stats ranking at the end of the Season in given stats category... Now that I see Kaleva being second on Dennis Rodman award-table, I guess I'll have to give him an extra bonus clause to his contract: +$100 for every HGL offensive rebound after his 5th OR on the match, for the rest of the Season... It might prove to be costly for my team, but hey, what wouldn't you do for DR reward? ;)
But as you probably understood, while that note remains "realistic", it takes nothing away from what I just said - whatever choices you want/need to make in order to be able to keep on publishing these player stats (including if you want/need to release them with lesser frequency than after each Round, should that considerably lessen your workload, etc.), are good choices.
So many of us (I'd like to believe) enjoy stats and find them very interesting, so we're happy to be able to get access to them - so thank you (already partially beforehand).
That's too bad to hear.. I hope you'll feel better again in no time!
