Ahem... In addition to preparing him for the gala;
I wonder how is Esnard (73yo) vs. Rimpiläinen (80yo) competition going on currently, for the the Gentleman-player of HGL-award (or would Senior Gentleman-player of the league be more appropriate title)? ;)

Of course, Mr. Mönkö (also 80yo) and Mr. Svarvar (74yo) are also interested in such award!
Rimpiläinen is just warming up, as he played only less than a minute in a HGL Season opener against LMS... :D

PS. Do you count everybody still having not played in a single HGL match before as "Debutants" (in your player stats-posts), or is there an age limit for that? I don't think Mönkö or Svarvar have still played in HGL so far, so we'll see if that would change... ;P

If top5 is doable for you, MrJ, with almost the same effort, then yes, I wouldn't mind at all to see that, but I think it's way more important decisive factor (in terms of whether to choose, say, top3 or top5) to keep the amount of work needed at somewhat reasonable levels (as that already sounds like a lot of work per Round).

So like Pihija (and myself earlier) wrote, it's totally up to you. And needless to say, of course I understand your decision on this (in all aspects of publishing of player stats) what ever you end up choosing..

(Yes, it's definitly a good summary for today's game)

We were facing Rajdersi, a team we do not know how to attack and how to defend against.
But that's nearly the same for RAJ !

Today's the victory came from our Center/AF Subsitute, 31 pts 5 rbds for him :)
The other players, defense, attack were all tied between our two team (excepted that we had 26 Assts / 16).

102-86, ahead all of the game, is a VERY good game for us :)

A game which on the paper (considering our top-8 salaries) should not have been that close, yet with an excellent 3rd quarter FRE were keeping us on our toes the entire time. In the end, I was able to grab the 16-point win, whereas our dominance in the rebounds and the ability to keep FRE's overall shooting below 40% were the main factors that brought us the big points. Good game, ned, and keep up the good work!


RS Round 4:

A game, in which last season we were able to push for an overtime after a small comeback in the 4th quarter and took the bitter loss in the end. This time we were able to grab the win for ourselves, especially after getting a 14 point lead by the half-time. In the 3rd quarter WMO had an excellent phase, where they minimized our lead to only 4 points, after which we were able to retaliate and grab a 15 point lead before the final quarter. I assume that by some mistake, WMO only fielded 5 players in the match, 4 of who were severely exhausted by the beginning of the 4th quarter, in which we did not leave a doubt, who will take home the points from this match. Nevertheless, we are happy about our first ever win over WMO and take this momentum for our Sunday's game against the reigning champions. Good game, WiMaOl and good luck for the next games!
