HGL Season 4 / Round 13

To be honest, I am still (a couple days post-game) scratching my head over this loss. While a close loss could be understood, a 20-point loss against a team with a lot less salary than mine, where tactics chosen by ned's boys (and mine) weren't accurate...is making me really examine this one more closely to uncover what went wrong. I have gained a few insights, which I will not share yet, however, my-less-than-optimal offensive tactics should not have been punished as severely as they were.

I would love to hear from others on how they think I lost this in the fashion I lost it. I'm hoping others can see something more obvious...something I am missing. I don't think it is as simple as their 3-2 defense shutting down my backcourt...can it? I picked their off and set a 3-2 zone to counter it.

Please feel free to comment if you have the time and inclination.

Ciao Mr. J, I think we "should" have similar teams, I'm very bad at rebounds and checking the stats probably you don't have players with 20 sp at reb too. So I think we should consider assist and OD, having similar value in reb my OD + pass created mismatch. This is the only reason in my opinion plus of course some random

Good to discuss about the "possibilites", it takes me back at the early days of BB
I think random has played a lot in this game, Barozzi is training and unfortunately he will have higher salary next season, btw he has a good rating in 2 and 3 points, more than 0,5 even if honestly this season my tournament is very easy. Than you are understimating that I'm a wise man after almost 20 years on this game I will check later our other matches maybe we could find something useful

Oh no, no, no, no..! :D As MrJ mentioned in his interesting manager experience listing (here: (330043.8)), you´ve started on BB season 6 and have 66 season's worth of experience (which is helluva lot!), so you are practically considered as a permanent, immovable furniture/part of organization who simply can't be fired ;) If you would, WMO fans would face an existential crisis when they'd lose their teams' identity, having a soulless bot at the helm of their team, instead of a friendly Frenchman... :)
