Hey, those are really nice suggestions! Especially „therapist“ would be awesome. Would that reduce the aggression only for the time that therapist is employed or reduce that aggression-skill permanently?

Agent - Having a dedicated staff that negotiates contracts with free agents will allow them to offset the Sale Fee proportional to the nominal sale fee value. This will allow GM’s who enjoyed the aspect of day trading an option to entertain that strategy more than they can currently.

BBs have worked for more than a decade to minimize/limit day trading and you want them to support exactly whatever they were fighting against XD
That aside, I think it has potential (it could very well fall into a trap like the PR manager depending on how they implement it, but I don't really understand how you propose it to work. Is it supposed to reduce the transfer fee? Or increase the percentage you get when you sell a player?

I love the other 3 tho, especially the therapist. That said life coach might cause things to go like the training court - we've already got NT players hitting legendary experience before their skills regress. If the impact of a life coach is significant enough, we might actually see players hitting that before age 30, and the devs might end up having to limit the impact of experience in the GE to balance it. Of course, I don't see it as something every team will get, but it can still cause problems like the training court.

Yes, I realize the Agent would appear as a step in the opposite direction from where the BB’s have guided the game, and the changes made to restrict day trading were much needed. Perhaps the term that should be used is “in-season” trading. The Agent would only serve as a reduction of the current penalties imposed for trading at a higher than normal frequency. For some BB’s dealing with high priced free agents, this may or may not be a good investment. This would also make “renting” a player for a tournament run and then shredding the salary if they get knocked more attainable for teams, and should increase these competitions. This method is no different than what happens IRL.

The idea for the Agent is it affects the transfer fee. If you just bought a player 3 weeks ago and the current transfer fee is 75% of the sales price, the agent would reduce the fee something along the lines of 2-20%, depending on the level. For player listed at 1M, this could mean saving ~200k for a max level agent. Whether that’s worth the agents cost is up to the manager and market to decide. Exact numbers can be debated of course.

Yes the idea for all of these is that they will be optional and only a fraction of the managers will obtain one. The impacts of each should be balanced enough that not all managers feel they need one, but can get one if they want an edge in that particular aspect, for a cost of course. Perhaps the life coach impact regresses with age like other skills as the player becomes more stubborn in their ways, or it loses its impact past a certain level. My take is there should be more diversity in experience at younger ages. NT and U21 players make up such a small % of the player base. That being said, I don’t think the Life Coach should have more than a 0.5-1 level impact over the course of single season.

Appreciate the feedback though! I agree though, if I had to only pick one to present to the BB’s, it would be the Therapist.

Thanks for the feedback! I suppose the aggression trait would only be impacted if a therapist is employed. Potential downside to that would be purchasing a player that needs a therapist but not knowing that fact. But I guess that’s the case IRL, you don’t know he is a hothead until he’s on the team.
