I think you missed my team, Wagner. I bought back the X-Man (Xavier Tsattalios) this season.

Indeed, sorry for that. I will correct that. While checking out HGL transfers and making notes, I had things written down in so many places, that it wasn't transferred to the post from the one location I had made a note of it.

This is exactly what I wish everyone would do, because eventually I will make (and of course already have, during all these HGL Seasons) mistakes here and there, so please if you note any mistake, don't hesitate to contact me..

EDIT: Both posts (actual post, which is 4th post on this thread, and condensed form of Salary benefit-post, which can be found just few posts above this post, here: (329501.234)) have now been edited, and should be free of any errors.

I'd encourage everyone to check their own teams' information though, and let me know if there are any errors so that I can correct them if there is something that needs to be corrected.

I didn't report my team's outgoing transfers because I didn't know I needed to

I suggest, if that's important to you, to make separate forum thread for transfers where each team can have it's post (like regular season schedule post) where we could edit every transfer, and you would have it all easily accesible.

It's not a lot of work since we make almost no transfers at all, everyone would know it should be done because of the separate thread.

Sometimes info gets lost in a lot of text, it's easy to miss. I have no time to read long responses on forum, so let's keep important stuff as short as possible.

Other soultion is to have separate thread where there would be only important info, in short sentences, easy to read and accessible at every time, where you could write when you need some info.

This message wasn't written in a spirit of trying to throw anyone under the bus by trying to say you're no good as you didn't do it, so all please remember that. It's just necessary to remind everyone of it now.

And I also said it because I wouldn't want to start enforcing penalties on this, if possible. On these "absolutely non-critical" things, it's often times good to with softer route to begin with, and give managers chance to correct their habits. (Like you mentioned, you didn't even know of this though).

And yes, I know that's a challenge that there is lots of information, and no way to easily distinguish extra important information from "basic" information/guides. (On the other hand, what is basic information anyway, and what's important? I guess most of the rules are important, because that's what keeps running HGL as it is - everything affects everything to some extent, and I've tried to not create rules/practices that have 0% reason/meaning behind them).

It is unfortunate that we have to deal with handling everything through forum and BBMails. ((If it would be on a separate website, then it would be easier to make it more user friendly (given that one would know how to create such site)).

Neither of these are especially user friendly, either to "owner" of the thread (there is 0 WYSIWYG-type of editing possibilities where you could just easily change locations, not to mention by doing that by dragging and dropping, etc.) or to user.

However, while I understand you and actually agree with your reasoning and point, I'm very hesitant creating even more HGL threads, especially for something that isn't requiring lots of entries.
And informing of transers is just one small part of HGL, so with the same logic we would have to have several extra threads (and based on some feedback, already two separate threads are sometimes thought to be too much - I don't think so though)...

I think we can follow the same procedure as until now; when you do get rid of player (fire, sell) or buy back one of your previous players, you just simply send message on either of two Official HGL Threads, Scores or Main Thread.
That way, it will be easily enough accessible, if everyone would for example start their message with *HGL player transfer announcement*, or somewhat similar statement like that.

I believe this "informing of transfers"-requirement will be mostly solved as soon as managers know about it. However, I do remember that some manager(s) haven't done this on earlier season(s) either, so let's assume this reminder given again corrects the issue for good.

I'm working on keeping important stuff as short as possible, but on the other hand, I want to be comprehensive enough so that things don't get delayed (or that I'd have to login to BB constantly to see if someone has presented questions due to my inadequate quide on doing something) because guide hasn't been comprehensive enough.

But problem is also, how to distinguish "important" stuff from less important stuff, as I'll keep also writing long, not "essential" posts. Using forums, no easy solution in sight...

@all HGL managers:

We will be running HGL Season 5 with same teams (18), and now that the creation of schedule has been under work, I based it on something I found from official off-season schedule post by BB. It says:

"May 2 (Sa): First league game day of the new season."

So traditionally HGL has started on following Monday, and I don't see why that should be changed.

Based on that I created a list of game days for Season 5, which I copied below.
It'd be great if at least some/someone of you guys would like to double check that schedule below for errors.
It's again 17 Round RS schedule, as there aren't team additions for S5.

Here's the schedule, that will be used for Season 5 if there aren't any faults found from it:

Regular Season (RS)

RS Round 1: Monday, May 4th, 2026
RS Round 2: Friday, May 8th, 2026

RS Round 3: Monday, May 11th, 2026
RS Round 4: Friday, May 15th, 2026
RS Round 5: Sunday, May 17th, 2026

RS Round 6: Monday, May 18th, 2026
RS Round 7: Friday, May 22nd, 2026
RS Round 8: Sunday, May 24th, 2026

RS Round 9: Monday, May 25th, 2026
RS Round 10: Friday, May 29th, 2026

RS Round 11: Monday, June 1st, 2026
RS Round 12: Friday, June 5th, 2026

RS Round 13: Monday, June 8th, 2026
RS Round 14: Friday, June 12th, 2026

RS Round 15: Monday, June 15th, 2026
RS Round 16:Friday, June 19th, 2026

RS Round 17: Monday, June 22nd, 2026

***

Playoffs (PO):

PO First Round (teams #5-12 play) Sunday, June 28th, 2026

PO Second Round (Quarterfinals) Sunday, July 5th, 2026

PO Third Round (Semifinals) Sunday, July 12th, 2026

PO Fourth Round (Final&Bronze): Sunday, July 19th, 2026

*******************

As far as challenging responsibilities on Regular Season are concerned, LA-LennuK. (BC Eos) assigned those to teams for our Season 4 schedule (thanks LennuK.!).

In the list below there are at least approximate numbers of challenges per team (I can't recall if some single change has happened after writing these down, but it should be pretty much on point).

If you have any difficulties using as many challenges also on Season 5 RS, please let me know immediately and we can see what we can do. Here's the list of current challenge responsibilities, that will also most likely be used for Season 5 if nobody objects:

WAG: 17
EOS: 16
WMO: 11
VPO: 11
ED: 11
HAD: 11
LGM: 11
RAJ: 10
LMS: 10
TRO: 9
FRE: 5
ALA: 5
KKS: 5
VDT: 5
VIV: 4
MAD: 4
HB: 4
HGK: 4

PS. Everybody remember to follow this HGL Thread, because we will start organizing new HGL Season 5 soon, and like you all know, everybody needs to do some work with match organizing during pre-season!

I can send more than 11 challenges, if necessary.

My problem is that i use the app to play BB. I don't get forum notifications, and I can't read and write post on the forum.

So I apologize for the delay in responding.

I think that many HG teams are more stronger than last season, so i am sure that i could lost some matches next season.

I can't notice myself on challenge responsibilities list. Anyways, I've 100+ tokens left and I'm happy to use them.
