@all HGL managers, read through:

If you are still playing in current Season's Playoffs, remember to organize your matches on time!

Last week we had a forfeit loss due to that.

Now we are past "Friday, at HGL game time", which is supposed to be the deadline for organizing HGL matches.

Links for two games are nowhere to be seen. This is current situation, which has not gotten any better in 5 days (since last Monday), when I last updated Playoff-post:
(EDIT: VPO-WMO was provided shortly after request on forum, but RAJ-ED is still missing even though it is supposedly already organized.
Second edit: 3 hours to PO Round 2 matches, all links provided by someone, but still links missing from box score posts of some participating teams, as you can see from below. End of an EDIT).

This, my friends, is not something we want to establish as a norm in HGL.

Today I once again came to see if all links have been provided, and had to send reminders to all managers with completely missing match links.
This absolutely should not be necessary (and even doesn't guarantee things will be taken care of/bbmails are seen in time).

Also LMS and VIV have not added match links to their own teams' box score posts, which is mandatory before matches start, as we all know.


Let's keep organizing games ASAP, after each Playoff Round schedule is announced.
Again, if you're 100% sure you know how to interpret who your opponent will be after winning your PO game (or losing in Semifinals, in which case next opponent is of course is very easy to interpret), you can already organize PO match before schedule for next PO Round is organized - but only in such occasions, and never before games on that Round have finished.

Sorry, I thought I've done everything correctly in advance, and I had no time to check the forum. Right now, I put the score on my scoresheet, yet I remain slightly confused. The link to the match has always been there, I believe? For sure, it was there, on my scoresheet, at least a couple of days before the game. (Don't remember the exact date I put it there, though.)

You put it on the top of post, it's easy to miss if you're expecting it chronologicaly after RS. But it is there.

Now that Pihija (KKS) mentioned that it was there at the top of the box score post, frankly, I didn't "realize" to check that (as I again had to try to do "million things" within a short time frame. So maybe (likely) I was wrong here in your case, so sorry for that if (and likely as) I was.

As for LMS, they seemingly edited their post (to include PO match link) during the match (however, it could've been also before the match but I wasn't online so I can't verify that).
ED still has not added match link on Second Round game to their box score post.

@all HGL managers:
I want to ask/remind every HGL manager to, if they still haven't done these things, to:

A) Add matches to your box score post chronologically (first RS, then Playoff matches), and
B) Add days also to Playoff matches, just like during RS (for instance, June 5th, 2026), and
C) If you still have not finished your box score post on Season 5, now is the time to do it. Remember, this is mandatory task. Fill all scores (in numbers) of all your Season 5 matches there, and please don't forget to add abbreviation for your Playoffs.

List of PO abbreviations follows as a memory refresher, yet these can also be found from my teams' box score post (which is always chronologically the first box score post on Scores Thread):

Abbreviations used for Playoffs scores:
AQR2 =Automatically Qualified to Round 2 of Playoffs
(used by Top 4 teams of RS, on PO Round 1)

NQP=Not Qualified to PO
(teams ranked 13-17th in RS, didn't qualify for PO)

*DNP* =Did Not Play (on this Round)


***Note that if you're like my team who didn't play on later Playoff Rounds, I should've added *DNP* to my other than First Round scores, but I didn't at least yet did it because box score post character limitations are irritating to handle with (as they have been reached also in that post).***

Close game against ED but we managed to win.
I was quite happy after training updates(gameshapes) but game was tight.

Invitation sent to KKS (another though and well build team).

Hello Paul George,
Match links are supposed to teams' own box score post be way before matches begin, in fact immediately when match link is available.

It was played yesterday, and link is still missing.

As I've mentioned, "regular HGL manager" does not have that many tasks to take care of, and it's not preferable to not do things as they're supposed to be done.

I understand that real life gets in the way sometimes, yet I will still repeat the same thing, that I hope we don't have to start planning to apply some rule changes in order to get managers to do certain things on time. (I have several options in mind to solve this by penalties, but so far I've only been noting managers).

I don't plan to be rude in any way here though, I'm just direct in my approach (as that's what you guys have already probably used to expect), especially as this seems to have been repeated by several managers already.
