thanks for the advice, i'll invest some of my savings into expanding my arena.

what confuses me is how i always seem to receive merch revenue that's less than league average. despite the fact that i have a mostly canadian squad every season, and almost every season i have one of my players in the u21 NT roster. i look at some of the other team rosters in my league and they tend to have so many foreign players. so i really don't understand what i'm doing wrong there. made me stop caring about searching only for canadians on the transfer list

My advice (pls. don't blame me if I might not be 100% on path) for your money:

1) Invest in your arena to reach 19K - 20K spectator place asap
2) Invest in your arena to reach 19K - 20K spectator place asap
3) Invest in your arena to reach 19K - 20K spectator place asap - not to believe, but it is the most important thing :)

After you reach that - next step merch store lvl1; better lvl2 or lvl 3, depending on your possibilities - here also to help to increase your passive income.

Than I would go for the arena design - a highly personal decision from my point of view. As i plan to stay till my RL-retirement in BB, I will go for sure for the 4M arena as it gives the highest return in the long run. If you also can/ want to spend 4M is - as mentioned before - a very personal decision of you.

After you activate all possible active and passive income possibilities for your team, only than I would recommend to start to foster team streghth and team developement possibilities like training court and gym. Same time, I would try to keep my roster closely above the required league salary floor to avoid unneded expenses.

This in fact is more or less also my personal short to mid term plan for my teams finances :)

As per my information, among others, merch revenue depends on how good (or bad) your players perform in the league and how high they might be ranked in your leagues top lists for pts. reb and ass.

ah okay, that makes sense. but in previous seasaons i've had players being u21 NT starters from the beginning of the season and still had slightly below average merch revenue. all with level 4 pr manager (no arena design). honestly i've already given up on caring about merch revenue this season. i was so invested in having a full canadian team in past seasons but i really don't think it's worth it...

You don't have any arena upgrade, so you're bringing in ~$12k/wk less than a team that has a $1M upgrade or ~$24k/wk less than a team that has a $4M upgrade (spot checking a couple teams in your league, Halifax Casuals has the $1M upgrade, Alert Polar Bears has the $2M upgrade, and Stampede City Renengades has no upgrade).

If you don't have any merchandise store, then that's $23.75k/wk less merch revenue per week than a team with merch store level 3 (though you also have $15k/wk less in Infrastructure expenses). There's no way to see what other teams have as far as merch store from the Arena page.

I highly doubt most teams in my div2 league have a merch store. Anyways, like I said, I've stopped caring about my merch revenue. For whatever reason, BB wants to give me around 5k less than the average in merch revenue per week, then so be it. I'm thinking of even sacking my lvl 4 pr manager for a cheaper lvl 2 or 3. At the end of the day, at least my total revenue is well above the league average thanks to attendance

As per information i have red here in the forum, a PR manager higher than lvl 2 is more or less waste of money. Important is the special ability of the PR manager - either to give you a slight home court advantage or to give you a slight advantage on away games by lowering the HCA of your opponent a little bit. Also as per information available, the special ability works 100% same, no matter what lvl the PR manager has.

So yeah - kick that lvl 4 butt out and save money for more important things :D
