Does height matter for secondary training?
By secondary training, I mean the improvement of the HN, DV, and ID skills that occurs as a result of OD training. For example, when training Pressure for a PG:
OD improves by ~0.5/week (primary training)
HN improves by ~0.05/week (secondary)
DV improves by ~0.05/week (secondary)
ID improves by ~0.1/week (secondary)
So, does the rate of secondary ID improvement from Pressure training for a PG depend on the player's height?
For example, would a 7'0" player gain more or less ID from Pressure training than a 6'0" player?
* * *
From what I've learned from the forums, the height modifier (coefficient) for OD training is:
6'0" player: 1.35
7'0" player: 0.75
And the height modifier for ID training is:
6'0" player: 0.65
7'0" player: 1.25
Based on that, if both players are 18 years old and training Pressure for PG under a Level 5 coach (with no youth coach or gym):
The 6'0" player would gain approximately +0.65 OD/week
The 7'0" player would gain approximately +0.375 OD/week
But what happens to the secondary ID improvement during that same week?
Would the 6'0" player simply get +0.065 ID, based on the ~0.1 ID secondary training rate?
Or is the secondary improvement also affected by the player's height coefficient? In other words, since the height coefficient for ID training would be around 0.65 for that 6'0" player, would the secondary ID gain instead be +0.04225 ID/week?
