You're right. I thought the gap would be bigger, but after the big loss of 1st day, it's always good to win :)

To me, this is one of the interesting sides of HGL, as we see how teams' success against each given opponent fluctuates from season to season. In other words, how development of each team affects the scores, and eventually especially for the fastest developing teams, when do we reach the point when this is reflected not only on the +/- part (point differential) of the league table, but also on W/L part of the league table. (Having said that, it's excellent attitude that one can also appreciate the development to the positive direction, as is the case with MrJ - HGL is so much more than just your win-loss numbers).

LMS has already gotten 'the scale to turn on their side' so to speak. Do you guys remember him warning us on Season 1 (or Season 2, or perhaps on both?), that his team will be a threat in the future? Compare the salary tables on Season 1 and on Season 4, and you see what he meant! Perhaps HGK is also on the same track, especially as MrJ mentioned that he now has material in his team that he's happy to train for quite some time... :)

***ARCHIVED POST FROM SEASON 4; DOES NOT CURRENTLY REQUIRE ACTIONS MENTIONED IN POST.
This post has been archived to this new location for possible further use (almost directly as is, or to be used a memory refresher when creating new content for further HGL Seasons), to release space for more essential/recent content from the beginning of the Scores Thread.***

@ all HGL managers,
*IMPORTANT UPDATE*

18th Team will join HGL immediately (for Season 4) to replace Svätý Jur Snakers (HAD).

Team is called BC Rajaleidjad (manager Trailblazer), abbreviation in schedules BCR (122619).

Actions from all managers are needed:

- Important: Everybody needs to either accept or send match challenge against BC Rajaleidjad

- Currently if you see HAD in schedule, that means BC Rajaleidjad (BCR), but I'll change that soon (for example in my case, I'll play against him on February 16th, as that's originally when I was supposed to face HAD)

- I asked him if he'd be willing to send all his challenges on this season, to streamline the challenging process (as we are pressed in time), but he hasn't logged in since sending this BBMail.

- Regardless of what he will respond, all of you have also a chance to send him a correct match challenge now instead of waiting for him to challenge you, if you want to use extra token for it. I emphasize word correct, as he does not have experience to distinguish wrong and correct challenge that easily.

- everybody please remember that he hasn't had time to read through all posts, so I appreciate if you also can help him out throughout the PU match organization process

- I'll now proceed to sending match challenge to BC Rajaleidjad, changing schedule (abbreviation name changes), and adding information to participating teams-posts and all other places where teams are mentioned.

Fresh league tables available on both Official Threads.

While Round 3 didn't offer true nailbiter-matches - actually only match that ended up with less than 10 point difference was my match against Madrid Chotis - still some relatively even matches were being played. 3 other matches to be more precise, if we consider the theoretical limit for 'at least relatively even' being 15 points.

Besides of losses, some notable scores were:
-RAJ was able to put up a good challenge against strong VPO squad, handing them the smallest victory margin of the young season.
- HGK was handed another loss, but as mentioned, there's a lot of promise as that came against strong HB team and considering that, loss wasn't massive in terms of point difference. HB's assist-to-turnover ratio was once again top notch (25 to 3!) and steals went 13-0 to HB, so these in addition to 7 additional ball handling errors of HGK made sure HB was able to get their first win of the season 4
- Not perhaps a notable score, but interesting exception in "typical" stats; LennuK's EOS made his presence known on offensive boards, as he was able to snatch no less than 50% (!) of offensive rebounds available for his team in that match (EOS 21OR, FRE 21DR), and beating FRE 57-30 in a battle for rebounds.

Any thoughts on Round 4 matches? :)
