Sorry in advance if somebody had already suggested following..

I'd really love to see changes made to the training system. The fact that you can only effectively train 6 players per week, without serious penalties, is beyond unrealistic and underwhelming and i don't see the reason for being like this.

I wish that we could train every player's individual skill on a weekly basis without having them to play in a certain position.
Requirement can be that we have to hire more trainers and that every trainer can train max 3-4 players.

The other wish i have is that we could setup tactic individually, where you can change focus for each player separately.

Focus: Mostly Inside, More Inside, Balanced, More Outside, Mostly Outside
Shooting/Passing: Pass Mostly, Pass More, Balanced, Shoot More, Shoot Mostly.

This would make preparing tactics even more important and unpredictable, scouting would be super necessary in order to set proper tactics.

Possible, but that's where experience comes into play. They can train 30 players to have great skills but experience should count for something.

I just feel that it's stupid that we have to play bigs on guard positions in order to adjust training etc. Makes zero sense that only 6 players are trained each week, super unrealistic. There has to be a better way.

Agree that the current training system could use some changes. Currently you can realistically only train 2 players at once, 3 gets very tricky and 4+ means you're basically halving the training speed. This also means that it becomes almost pointless to invest in draft once you've found your 2-3 trainees and actually start trying to win games.

Couldn't agree more!

Requirement can be that we have to hire more trainers and that every trainer can train max 3-4 players.

Either that or a system where you can train more players in total but only train 2-3 guys with max efficiency. Something like this:

Main focus - Train 2 players with 100% efficiency.

Secondary focus - Train 2 players with 50-75% efficiency.

Tertiary focus - Train 2 (or maybe up to 3-4) players with 30-40% efficiency.

The exact numbers could be discussed further. Maybe add a secondary trainer to slightly help those efficiencies.

In that way, you could give slower training to players with less potential - a player with a "Role player" potential could be exactly that, a role player for your needs.

It would make home-grown teams more viable and you could build the team exactly how you'd like, not needing to find a perfect fit for a team build you have in mind.

For individual focus for players - also not a bad idea. Hate to see my worst shooter think he's Kobe.

Hello

Honestly , the whole system would be so much better if they just did away with the rigid 48 minute rule altogether.

If a player gets out on the court and plays in a game, they should get their training, it really should be that simple. Let managers handle the actual training focus and intensity instead of forcing everyone to meticulously track minutes down to the exact second just to keep a player's form from tanking.

It also makes total sense to combine stamina and game shape into a single rating. Having them separated just creates weird contradictions, how can a player have great game shape, but still gas out halfway through a match? If you're in shape for the sport, you're in shape. I do think heavy minutes should still show and affect performance somehow, but streamlining those mechanics would cut out a ton of unnecessary micro management.

We also need to fix how the market gets exploited to bypass actual team building. Right now, people abuse the newcomer help to buy 35k to 55k a week players for a full season without training a single thing, just to game the system.

Cut the new user hand holding. Give new teams 3 weeks of salary floor exemption and nothing more. I don't want to hear the competitive excuses, too many people use it as an abuse the game to buy super players instead of learning how to train a real team. Or, at the very least, limit them to buying two players the 1st season, no greater than 8k a week.

Stop playoff rentals. To stop teams from buying stacked rosters right before the playoffs, we need a trade deadline rule. Two weeks before or after the All Star break, no team should be allowed to sell players, buying is fine, but selling is locked.

The 30 day playoff rule is another option. Make it so any player bought within 30 days of the playoffs is ineligible to play in them. This forces managers to win with the team they actually scouted, drafted, and trained.
