BC Törööö is out to a 28-21 first quarter lead against the Estonia double winners. Good luck to Montréal Rockets in their return to the B3 later against the Moroccan double winners.

I'm hoping to last longer this time around! I don't want to be another one and out.

Nice ratings jbm in your game btw.

yeah, getting the number 4 rank team in the world at their arena kinda puts a damper on my hopes of advancing.

Thanks, it was a good game. I was hoping for a similar draw in the next round. Your draw is no pushover either, without the HCA, could prove a nice challenge.

Good luck to you.

Good luck as well. At the number four team in the world, and the last team that I lost to in my pl (when I played them in Greece).

I was looking at my last few BBB games, and 9 out of the last 10 (including this week's game) have been at opposition arenas, and I am not counting the neutral court games. So, hopefully my players are properly seasoned for the game.

awesome - out due to my own carelessness. will play some more cup rounds (to ensure full training) and prepare for next season.

that's gotta be the earliest you've ever been out of BBB by a long shot. i guess your stuck with beating on Canadian teams for the next 2 months. ;)

Have to admit that the difference between teams is very small now, and you have to make some progress if you want to be the champion again.

Sorry to see you went out. This is a great example of a look inside that worked, though! I have been looking for one. The pts per 100 say that the result was fair, too.

You got killed in rebounding, too. Take a look at your SF match-up... Can you say that rebounding is no longer important for SFs? Actually, if you look at Thomas's rebounding performance against England yesterday, I think the book is closed on that one. He also dragged the team rebounding rating down by about a full level.

i will just say that due to an inadvertent error on my part, instead of having romagnoli defend as a centre (and the extra rebounding and defending that goes with that), my lineup had an inferior alavi as my defending centre - which would have greatly altered the points per 100. in addition, my strong rebounding guards were hurt or in foul trouble for most of the game. thus, i don't think that particular game can be reflective of anything.

but thomas will get some rebounding in the future ...
