Dear managers,

when i got some extra time, i will complete the story line from last season. I will finish the reporting at a later stadium. Season 37 comes with a couple of announcements

Seaosn 36 recap:
Last season we managed to qualify for the european championship (for the first time without having HCA) ending Belgiums long adsence from the competition. We only managed one win, but overall it's more than any of the scouts could have hoped for, considering we had France, Serbia and Poland in the groupstages! I'd like to thank my staff for all the help they have provided. Also, i will finish the match reports from last season at some point (i still owe you those reports, i haven't forgotten them) and i'll try to make sure the ones from this season will come at a more timely order.

I would also like to offer my appoligies. i didn't mean to forfait the game against Hungaria. However, my PC crashed & i thought a line up was set. I was mistaken, so sorry for that. We could have ended 4th or 5th without that loss, so for that i'm truely sorry.

Also, following that incident, there have been some words exchained which have enfuriated me beyond normal levels. I have considered many things, amongst them leaving BB (and remaking a team in England since my parents have moved there and i shall most likely be following suit when my studies end) to numerous other things. However, i've been elected as a U21 coach, so i owe the community to do my job this season. After this season, i will not be running for another U21 election, unless if a specific goal is met. This goal is known to my scouts. I will however prepare the futur generation so that whoever steps into my shoes will have a good generation awaiting for him. I'm unwilling to futher comment on the incident.

Now that those announcements have been made, i have one final one for season. I will once again be providing match reports this season. However, i'm currently very occupied (4 presentations & 2 interviews for my masters at brittish universities) so the first match report will be delayed untill the weekend.

As always, if you have any questions or thoughts, feel free to mail me. Since this is likely to be my last U21 season as Belgiums headcoach, i intend on making all the games count.

New generation of Red Cubs have started their conquest of shocking the world!

Since last season was an exceptional generation, the U21 staff started their off season ritual: starting from scratch, chosing a roster, checking out players, scouting the futur gerenations etc. The amount of hours put into this cannot be apprecciated enough! However, each of those minutes is vital to forming the next generation of futur Lions!

After the great adventure in Ukraine, the U21 staff & the coach had the pleasure of welcoming a bunch of newcomers, along with a couple of actors who will be returing from last seasons cast! The staff has narrowed down a preselection to 22 players. If you are unsure about the role of your player, contact your U21 scout!

Also, i've decided to bring a Theme to this seasons reports. Last season, it was about young lions. This season, i've decided to go with the Star Wars theme. i was debating if i shouldn't use the star trek theme (i know some amongst the scouts would have enjoyed that!) but i've decided to go with something actual, since we

Episode 1: The Iranian Menace!


Jedi masters AthrunZala & Angi, aided by the other members of the Jedi council (KevinDuQu, guiguits, Grumble, iomega13, Jaws & Benovic) once again have set out to train their young Padawans in the ways of the force! The intial crop of Padawans will without a doubt be expanded once other worthy pawadans have been called upon to serve the Buzzerbeater Republic!

The first 11 young Padawans are: padawan JDC (also known as Callewaert), padawn Boussou, padawan Malaise, returning padawan De Ketelaere (a veteran amongst the young crop!), pawadan Casimir (also known as Delbaen), padawan Warren (also known as Vanrobaeys), padawan Cornelus, padawan Jaumotte (another veteran!), padawan laloux, pawadan De Raedt (another veteran) & the lost pawadan Lerolle (since he keeps dissapearing for parts of the season due to his extravagant partying and subsequent subpar form).

These 11 young padawans were called upon to face off against the Iranian Trade Federation! Despite master Jedi AthrunZala fielding his young padawans squad at the last second, Dark Buzzerbeatious managed to advise the Iranian Trade master how they would be infiltrating their planet! a perfectly predicted GDP meant that the young padawans would be facing an uphill fight, finding all their offensif routes blocked.

The fight got underway with young padawan Boussou getting ambushed twice early on, meaning he had to sit out the first fight pretty fast, despite providing 3 assists to the team. Not to worry, Padawan JDC was more than up for the task of replacing him. Padawans Warren & Laloux blazed the trail, winning every single scirmmage with the opposing tradefederation puppets, to put the Jedi squad up by 26-17 at the halfway. De Raedt would be taking control of the airspace, shoting down 4 infiltration attempts (rebounds) by the Trade Federation!

The second battleground would see the Iranian Trade Federations match the young Belgian Padawan squad, attempts of Laloux, Lerolle & De Raedt to infiltrate the opposition were met with stiff opposition. Meanwhile, guards JDC & De Ketelaere were trying to coordinate the padawans, but they didn't manage to get more infiltrations than the Iranian trade federation was getting. After 5 words of advise from Jedi Benovic, padawan JDC finally understood how to lead his team! his following 5 infiltrations would be succesfull, pushing the Iranian Trade federation onto the defensif. Suddenly, that Iranian defense looked a lot like cheese from the planet Naboo & the Padawans, lead by the undeniable JDC, would end up cutting up the remaining federation outposts to give them a comfortable path towards the Iranan capital! The Belgian Padawan squad decided to take a brief retreat (50-33) before pressing on to lay siege to the Iranian capital!

Episode 1: The Iranian Menace! (part 2)

The Siege would start with Padawan De Ketelaere taking over the charge from JDC, mostly converting from the charity line. The Iranian Trade generation scrambled their last defense in a valiant effort, however the Padawan squad managed to breach the games of the citadel. This part of the expedition, lead by De Ketelaere & Laloux, saw them gain entry to the citadel, resulting the the padawan squad rushing in under blazing fire from the Iranian Trade federation! Master Jedi Angi assembled the troops one final time, giving them some pointers for the final fight!. In her wisdom, she decided to rest the padawans who started the assault & would send a fresh bunch into the fight. The one exception would be JDC, who she kept around to make sure that he could bring home the victory.

And padawan JDC didn't dissapoint Master Jedi Angi with the faith placed in him! He guided padawans Delbaen, Cornelus, Warren, Jaumotte & Malaise through the entire citadel towards the launching platforms. Alas, Dark Buzzerbeatious managed once again to slip through their grasp, but who knows what the futur will hold for these young padawans. Shortly after, Master Jedi Arthunzala was informed that he had fled to the city of Seoul, on the planet Hanguk! Master Jedi believed his pawadans had earned their rest and gave the recommendation to KevinDuQu to start making their lightsabres. However, Lerolle & Jaumote instantly started fighting eachother, with lead to forced intervention of Iomega, Guiguits & Jaws to combine their efforts in using the force to subdue the 2 out of control padawans. Upon hearing of this, Master Jedi Arthunzala decided to choalk this experience up to the younthfull padawans being to energetic & let it slide! However, with a stern warning for all, he sent all young padawans back to their home planets, informing that they all had earned their usual week of training & relaxation, before they woudl embrak on the next mission!

Also, This season i will start implementing a MVP of the season. The grading system will work as following: 3 points for the stand out preformer. 2 for the next one, 1 point for the 3rd mvp of the game. I'll look into installing a reward at the end of the season.

Episode 2: Attack of the South Korean Clones (part 2)


The south Korean clone troopers were running for the hills, from which they could board a shuttle to regroup in space. The Padawans were in hot persuit, lead by Boussou & Casimir. However, the fight would not end here! Jaumotee & Casimir would seize this chance to attempt convincing Master Jedi AthrunZala that they deserve a starting role next time around. Boussou finally looked like someone who could command his fellow padawans & lead them on tyhe battlefield, however questions remain if he'll be able to do so when faced with a tougher opposition.

Reports claiming that Dark Buzzerbeatious being on the South Korean planet were proven false. However, this doesn't mean that the jedis will stop their efforts into ridding the galaxy from the influences of Dark Buzzerbeatious & his Siths! Master Jedi heard that the Danish Vikings were once again attempting an invasion of a republic based planet and dispatched his padawan squad there, so that they could head off the invasion and protect the republic. This fight will be held a week from now. be sure to come and support our young Padawans!

Episode: Padawansquad repel Danish invasion (part 2)

It didn't take long before the padawans were in a stalemate. Each time they managed to gain a foothold on the walls, they seemed to be repelled. Subbing out the starting 5 padawans didn't really solve the issue either. Padawan Sandy finally found a weakness in the Danish defense. He told Padawan Boussou to wait for the others. Boussou, who wanted to redeem himself for his earlier actions, ignored the advise and rushed into 4 oncomming Vikings. The ensueing fight, however heroic, saw Boussou suffer a critical injury. Padawans Lerolle & De Raedt arrived just in time to cover for their injured comrade. Sandy and Warren dragged Boussou back so that he was out of harms way. Master Jedi Athrunzala shook his head upon learning what had happened and send padawan JDC into the fray for the injured Boussou. The padawans finally managed to gain control over the wall, which saw the vikings retreating to their ships.

A brief pause was given to the padawans, before sending out 5 fresh padawans to finish off the job. JDC would lead the line, while the newest member of the family (De Munck) would manage to beat his first opponent (score his first points ;). Padawan JDC was determined not to let Boussous sacrifice go to waste & was directing fresh padawans. He noticed that padawan Daevy could go invisible for a few seconds and deviced a tactic around this ability. this saw Daevy getting into very advantagious positions & defeating one opponent after the other. General chaos erupted from the Vikings, who abandoned 2 of their ships. The retreating vikings boarded their ships and the KV dome was once again liberated.

upon return to the senate, senator PolleForever was gratefull for the jedi intervention and wished to reward the padawansquad. Master Jedi Athrunzala said that there was no need for this. Nonetheless, the Senator threw a banquet for the liberation forces. Just when the padawans were about to dig in, a messenger from the senate arrived to inform the jedi that Dark Buzzerbeatious had been sighted in the Libanon Galaxy. Angi assembled the padawans and told them to board a republic atack cruiser, to start the long journey towards the king of monoi planet!
