Oke, so I was thinkin about stamina.
When I play a fast playing style my players use more energy and so need a higher stamina level to keep competing at a high lever right?

The same thing goed for playing a full court press on defense.

So let's say I play push the ball on offense and full court press on defense. My stamina will drop hard. Is this also the case for my opponents stamina or only my stamina.
It would be logical if my opponents stamina would also drop harder than if I played patient. Because they will have to spend more energy as well right?
Is that the case?

Hey mate,
I don't have any hard data about this and in a real world context it would make sense, but I don't suspect this would be the case in the game. It would be cool if it did, though. It would be hard to track data to measure this as you'd have to play the same team multiple times using different speeds of play against them doing the same thing to be able to tell if there was an impact or not.

I agree

I also guess that an high pace in attack or in defense (1-3-1) affects your own players only, and this is wrong.
I always have a good stamina and sometimes tried to take advantage of the low stamina of my opponent but didn't notice any improvement in the last quarter.

Just a guess anyway, I should chek single games to verify

Thanks for your response :).

Honestly I'm not aware of those discussions, so I'm going to look if I can find them in the forum. i tried a little bit this morning but no results so far so I'm going to search further for that :).

Oke so basically what you are saying if I understand correctly. Is that if someone runs a fast offense like push the ball I will tire them more if I force them to let the offense run longer. So than I should play a defense that would give me the highest change of making the attack longer?

So if that is the case If he plays push the ball and I want them to tire as much as possible It would be better if I use man to man instead of full court press?

Thanks I'm going to look at breaking those down :).

Thanks for your reponse :).
Yeah that would be great if you can do that!

Oke thanks man, that was what I wanted to know :).
I didn't want to base my strategy only on stamina but wanted to understand how this worked so I had the option to use it to my advantage sometimes. And now I have a better understanding about this and about the game engine overall so thank you for that :).

I was hoping that FCP would have a better impact in the opponent's stamina drop since s53 when the stamina change was implemented. I tested it 2-3 times but saw no difference. Its a pity that its still a useless defense. BUT when both me and the opponent played fast paced tactics and I knew my overall stamina was better than his, my team played a bit better especially in the 4th quarter. Also what westri said about your defence forcing the opposing team into taking late shots (thus playing more and more seconds/minutes into a fast paced rhythm) is spot on. My 3-2 defence was much better against rng or push the ball / LI than it was the previous seasons
