Some teams can get into the playoffs even if they are bad. My team can't get in with a salary of 300000. I don't think it's fair at all。
I have a suggestion on whether the eight teams with the best records can go in, regardless of the East and West, which is a little fair.

You play everyone on your side of the league twice and teams on the other side only once, so your proposal also wouldn’t be fair. Sometimes leagues aren’t balanced. That’s part of the game. I don’t think it needs to be changed from the way it has been for a long time. This is also coming from me, whose team once finished as the 8 seed and was relegated at 12-10 with a positive PD.

At the end of the season, the teams will be reallocated so that the conferences will be as equal as possible.

In times like these it's better to think of each league as two smaller leagues of 8 teams, that happen to have some inter-league play in the middle of the season. I don't think there's much way of fixing it under the current league system, but it's usually self policing anyway as the weaker conference loses more teams to the relegation play-offs, and new potentially stronger teams take their place.
