A few words on strategy: we have only three players who really deserve to play in the starting lineup: Lyle, Spens, Boyd. One player on the way to this is MacShimes. Moreover, Lyle will have to play exclusively PG, since MacShimes is not strong in the draw. We have a weak position of the second bigman: Barrie, Losiak, MacKersey are cool guys, but not at all the level of the European team. There is hope for the youth, I hope that MacMaurice, Chapp, Tempe, or someone else in a couple of seasons will be close to getting into the squad. In terms of the depth of PG/SG positions, we are still pretty good, there are a number of veterans with decent skills + Fitchy, who are still stronger in TSP than MacShimes. Things are worse for the spare SF. Now the best candidate is Blair. It is quite versatile, if necessary, it can be shifted to the position of a spare PF, although then one of the other guys will have to be put on SF, most likely Willey.
Well, to sum up, we need to train young people, there are a lot of players in the team with a limited ceiling, without this we will not become stronger.
Also, a number of veterans will begin to receive a reduction in skills, will gradually leave the roster.
