Round 13 of the TV game show (Match Prediction Contest) is complete, with performance that shocking the vegas better. This is a first I don;t even know how to score it as not a soul thought the Newts were winning this game. Yet the Newts won with a lights out backcourt performance, 107-103. It was an absolutely thrilling with the Newts going 58% from behind the arc. The big three outside talents of Anastasio, Villamater, and Seidinger combined for 81 of their points tonight. This was a big win to stay ahead of Lake Charles in the standings. Meanwhile, on the other side, this really leaves the door open for Steppers to make the battle for 7th interesting in the great 8. Bananahorns, Cougars, and Steppers will have an interesting second half of the season to stay up. Who can make the cleanest finish this season, while leaving enough in the tank to win a relegation series?

As for next gameday....ITS A DOUBLE HEADER!!!
Saturday 4/27/2024 8:00:00 PM 6th Place Bananahorns @ 6th Place Hasting Hornets & 3rd place Evergreen Xenos @ 3rd place Archers of Loafcross
I love the symmetry both matchups are teams in simmilar standings stituations. The Archers are in a very competitve top half of the Big 8. Meanwhile the Evergreen are trying to stay away from playing Rashmonsters in the first round of the playoffs. In the other matchup the Bananahorns have two teams hot on their tails desperate to scramble ahead of the in the relegation battle. Whereas the hornets have done the dirty work and secured safety from automatic relegation pretty much and now can solely gameplan for how they want to attack the playoffs and whatever matchup they get.
Hasting Hornets and Bananahorns have never played each other. Evergreen Xenos and Archers of Loafcross have never played each other.
Some possible storylines... The news feeds are flooded with talk of there potential sell of Dominik and Viktor. Will this change their chemistry now that they have added Runyon? WHat about in acquistion Ohka for the Hornets. Surely the Nippon national teamer was a few tricks in store for the league.
