To add to that, being in from the outset gets you a year of development so that next year you'll be better than teams starting out from scratch. So you'll have a better chance of beating those teams in the Cup next year and be on a par with the ones that started this year. It's definitely better than waiting.


And you'd miss out on being able to purchase players that would have been fired for $47k because over a thousand of your best friends and rivals all need to build a team from scratch. Who'd want to pass up on that opportunity?!

I've thought about it myself, but I already fired two of my draftees so I wouldn't have the guys to suck up minutes in Cup games.

Yeah, but since no one has more than 50-100k to spend, it doesn't make much a difference to my first team.

The only regret not to be able to appear in this competition returns to the loss of income of points for the "Enthusiasm" and 50000 dollars of likely victories. The not committed(hired) teams should receive a financial compensation.
