Well done. Macedonia is good and has pretty high shapes. That win wasn't done before the game, even more with lower enthusiasm.

Belgium 104 - 92 Macedonia

It was a tricky game as they've played with a better attitude than us. Our boys were very concetrate at the start of the game as we've started with 9-0 after 3 minutes and De Sloovere was showing he'll be the guy: 2/3 FG - 1/1 3Pts - 1 Reb - 1 Ast - 1 Stl - 5 Pts at that time.

After that brilliant start, Macedonia took a full timeout and the game became to be more equilibrated but they never came back in the game. Our boys managed to keep the lead with their experiences. No real rookie for our NT on the field yesterday, just the "young" Pedro De Nil having his first cap in our starting five.

Adrien De Sloovere continued to be brilliant and is the MVP of the game:
9/14 FG - 1/2 3Pts - 4/4 FT - 16 Reb - 4 Ast - 1 Stl - 3 Blk - 23 Pts

What was the key of our success? Rebounds as we've managed to took 17 offensive rebounds (8 by De Sloovere!) where Macedonia took 10. That gave us an edge.

So we're with 4 wins and no defeat and next week we'll face the other team with same results: Portugal. As they're hosting the tournament, I won't promise you a victory but we'll try to do our best.

Belgium 70 - 86 Portugal

We were facing the hosting team of the tournament, it was almost mission impossible. We've hope that they'll play inside but they didn't came into our trap. In the end, it's a logical defeat.

MVP of Belgium is Manfred Verschaeren with an honnest: 6/12 FG - 8 Reb - 3 Ast - 14pts.

Best rookie is Henri Isselé even if he didn't make a great game (but he was the only one on the field).

Now we are entering the money-time, we must win the 2 last games and it will be very difficult to achieve that. So please, pay attention to weekly minutes and keep our boys in shape.

Austria 82 - 97 Belgium

It's our best performance of the season and it comes in a perfect timing! It's a collective win with all our boys marking several points (best scorer is Jooris with 15pts and our 8th best scorer is still with 8pts!), with lot of assist (25) and a tremendous defensive work (Austria was limited to 28/76 FG only when playing look inside).

Talking about defense, I was really afraid of their monster 153 TSP small forward, Julian Kröll (31073323). Pedro De Nil had the hard task to defend on him and he succeed as Kröll scored 18pts with only 38% FG. For this reason, Pedro De Nil is our MVP of the game, his stats: 6/11 FG - 3 Reb - 4 Ast - 2 Stl - 12 pts.

Two players were added into the roster: Rotsaert & Cassiers. Both were in our starting five and made a good game. Now our roster is full for this season.

Best rookie is Henri Isselé with 4/5 FG - 4 Ast - 11 Pts in 17 minutes.

Next week, we're playing our last qualification game against Croatia. Situation is clear, a win and we are qualified. So please, pay attention to minutes this week and keep our NT in shape.
