Astra (Moomins) posted on the forums explaining that he was banned and saying goodbye. I can't find the thread now, it may have been deleted.

He and Johannes have been banned. We can't know why, but presumably because they share an ip. Its fairly clear they're different people. They have completely different personalities. There doesn't however seem to be anything we can do about it, as vouching for people doesn't seem to carry any weight.

That's a real shame, both very longstanding GMs who will be a loss.

Good luck in the Conf final, you will need it against my $110k of payroll....you might just beat me by 70.

I have no idea how I won my game, I couldn't have got my tactics more wrong and was massively outgunned without Elliott. Enthusiasm and effort must count for a lot. That and luck.

I was just looking at your game. Have to say I really didn't think you could win there when I looked early on. I think the enthusiasm and effort together must make a difference. I'd rather have taken you on with Elliott fit. I feel like I owe him one. ;)

I could have two Elliott's and you'd still drill me. This must be your year for promotion.

Do you mean the NT? I wouldn't say I had anyone quite like him. 18OD and 14 ID are very good for an SF. And his IS is as high as a PF. So really, I'd say no we don't.

Yeah in NT, said then. I thought I would buy some English superstar in future, but it could be impossible.

They don't come along very often. Financially its better to have an English player, which is why most people want to hold on to the ones they have.

Of course it is but if I can't buy an English player with same level of skills then I have to buy foreign or train English 18 year old talent.
I just got to much cash I suppose:-)

I've never been able to hang on to cash. Its my big failing. Even a foreign player brings in merchandising, not as much as an English player but still significant. Training takes a long time but as you're clearly aware it does mean you get a player with the specific skills you want.

I'm sure you don't need me to tell you this, but just because you have money, doesn't mean you should be careless with it. Spend well and good luck.
