Good 1st half against the Philippines. We won't talk about the 2nd half.

Last night we met the wrath of Taiwan on their home court and they tore us apart early, winning the match by 30pts. It was the most comprehensive I've seen Australia be defeated, with no players shooting above 50%, and no player scoring above 10pts.

MVPs
3- Saeed 18rebs, 8pts
2- 9pts, 9rebs
1- Field 18rebs, 7pts

Last week we also lost in a great game against the Philippines
MVPs
3- Gaster
2- Field
1- Duffield

A staggering result, WW.

I mean, they didn't shoot all that well with 34% FG and 23% 3FG, but we shot at 17% and 6% respectively! Simply staggering.

Added to this, we actually had better GS with our starting 5s! I mean, 3 of their 5 starters were not even in 9GS.

From an analytical pov, what do peeps think about this game? Tactical? Anomaly?

Would love to hear your take on it WW and others? (maybe on offiste forum)

Yep I'll add to the forum tonight my thoughts, but on paper I was thinking we were the underdogs, not David vs Goliath

Congrats to Blossom of the chickaboos for his fantastic season with Rick Gaster. Rock finished on an admirable 118tsp. Well done to runners up Cronk and Duffield.

As we enter the offseason, it'll be scoring time and time to assemble a team to take our team to the next trophy. Let me know if you have a suitable candidate and I'll have a look at him. Thanks!

Well done on all your effort this season, WW.

It wasn't highly successful, but you did well with a decent squad. I'm looking forward to seeing the next bunch and what they can do.

+1

Hopefully next season we have some good big men. Made it hard this season when teams knew we wouldn't attack them inside.

Yep. We do have a few (I can see my trainee Boyuan in the mix too) so maybe we'll have an inside option next season. I'm working on one at the moment. Hopefully I can turn him into a nice big for us in Season 70.
