Despite falling short in the finals, the Homegrown Kings can look back on a highly successful season.
From the outset, our main priority was training. Midway through, we were presented with the chance to bring back a fan favourite, Xavier Tsattalios—the X-Man—and we didn’t hesitate. That single addition gave the squad a genuine sense that a title run might be possible, even while keeping our focus on development.
By the halfway mark, we held an 11–1 record. At that point, management took a closer look and realized we were strong contenders for automatic promotion to Division II in Season 72, provided we maintained our form. To secure that outcome, we even CT’d the final regular-season game, finishing with a 21-1 record.
The Homegrown Kings are heading to Division II in Season 72. It will be a tough challenge, and wins may be hard to come by. Training will remain our top priority, and we’re hopeful we can do enough to survive the season ahead.
