After months of secret negotiations, the contract was signed later today and the former Homegrown King, Xavier "X-Man" Tsattalios re-signed with the club. The deal, reported to be well above the average salary, included a 'Captain's clause. That is, if the X-man can lead the club in scoring this season, he will be offered the Captaincy for the next 3 years. The club is currently without a captain and Livingstone has been doing an amazing job as acting captain.
"We are so excited by this signing," Coach MrJ told reporters at a press conference hours ago. "He gives us immediate bang-for-our-buck in an area we desperately need it!" he added. "he will also be the perfect mentor for HOF rookie Georgijev."
