I didn't meant to upset you. I just wanted to highlight how thin the line is between success and failure. Linkous may be upset against me because I didn't let him win his last game, but how fair would it have been to Sgolba and yolymapa, which I played at full strength ?

Besides that, this issue isn't of my concern : my only interest right now is train my next 2 stars Frans and Gaethofs, and to do so I needed to field my best starting five 2 out of 3 games. Only having 2 official games that week made math very easy. And I TIEd the game, as I said I would.

Anyway ; end of season for the Spartans, and there are way too many teams that are way ahead of us. With high prices and low quality players on the TL, as well as my excellent PF and PG being slowly overaged, things aren't looking good for the near future. I'm afraid playing to avoid play-downs is the only realistic goal. Or perhaps I keep Jacoby and Dabnys a season longer.

Well done.

I am surprised by enthusiasm, if both of you PON that's some serious gambling by Jona, if POS that's pretty optimistic from 65. Nice tactic by Amenra, I didn't expect an outside play so early on (seeing it had been tested I rather expected it on game 3).

And if defenses were not inverted, Bellings did tremendous job on Udrits.

Wonder how this will turn out ...

Woow, well done mate !
You made the first step to become the new BBBL champion !

And one thing i noticed immediately when looking at the box score - and in this i totally agree with Dartreb - amazing job of Bellings on Undrits ! (if he did defense on normal position that is, something you better keep secret for everyone until the finals are over ;-) )

ok guy's,

i don't get this. in my league, there are 2 players going for the MVP. for the sake of it, i'll call them 1 & 2:

Statlines:
GP MIN FG 3FG FT OR TR AST TO STL BLK PF PTS RTNG
21 40.6 18.6 3.2 4.2 1.7 7.8 1.2 1.6 0.6 2.3 1.5 44.6 11.3
19 33.3 7.3 0.7 2.5 2.8 13.4 5.6 1.6 1.0 3.1 2.2 17.8 15.9

for your information. Player 1 won the MVP in a landslide. now you got to explain me how BB would value player 1 over player B. i mean player B is a way more complete player. better defender, better passer, better rebounder. the only way player 1 is better is because his team funnels all possesions through that one player. i just don't understand why that player gets 27 - 5 votes, where as player 2 gets 5-27 first-second place votes.

if someone could shed some light on this, i'd be extremely interested. Especially since i'm trying to get my stats together and i need to consider how i'm going to try and hunt a MVP trophy next season while still ending last (it's going to be a challenge XD)

You mean that despite Ventola not landing a single 3-pointer in the whole game playing MoM instead of 2 - 3 would have prevented a lot of easy inside shots ?

Otherwise I really dislike 2 - 3, it's not a bad tactic but requires very specific players to successfully use.

OK with Ventola's outside-minded skill-set, but nevertheless it was impressive to keep "at bay" a player whose average PPG is above 20. But of course, I don't know exactly JS/JR combination of Undrits, perhaps he struggles a little bit with those.
